Breakfast was good. Workers were very nice I felt safe

Could have used a mirror to see back of my hair! Forget mine! Appreciated they saw to it that my request for 2nd floor, close to elevator (206)

Nothing, we didnt end up staying at La Quinta.

Despite having a reservation held by a credit card, when we arrived at La Quinta we were told there had been an overbooking and another person had booked the room just seconds before we booked our reservation. Since the other person had already gotten there and checked in, there was no longer any rooms left. They claimed that they had contacted me to say they had to cancel our reservation, but they had not. Otherwise, why would we have shown up? We had told them we were in town because my mother-in-law was in the hospital, dying. Despite that fact, when my husband naturally expressed his disappointment over the situation, the assistant manager told him to calm down. At that point, I told the assistant manager not to tell my husband to calm down. He had driven from our home, over the mountains, to get to Ellensburg where his mom had been in a nursing home, only to find out when he was halfway there, that she had been airlifted to Wenatchee. He drove on to Wenatchee. He spent Friday night at the hospital on a sofa in his mother's room. Calm had been and gone before we even got to the hotel. Since there were no other rooms available anywhere in the city of Wenatchee, we ended up having to sleep in our car in the hospital parking lot. It was over 80 degrees at midnight so it was a miserable night.

Easy to find

personnel and the Manager were great. very nice and very helpfull.

the smoke in the area of fires. Wanded to stay two nights but could not do the smoke. other wise it was wounderful.
