It was a good location and a good view

The construction was a bummer as it was all around and they lost the hot water also.

Very close to most activities and tours

Under construction so very loud and limited access to car parking area at times. Was only told this on the day of arrival. We had pest control out during our stay and the cleaner came a day early, both causing slight inconvenience to us, however was sorted quickly by the host and he was very helpful.

Lovely view from the balcony. Good powerful hot shower. Well equipped kitchen. Couple of restaurants in walking distance. Heated swimming pool with good sunbeds and umbrellas for shade.

Property could do with brightening up. There isn't a usable beach at the front of the hotel (maybe this changes with the seasons?) Issues with the host Ray. We did not receive check in details and hotel kindly called him on arrival. He made us feel as though we got something wrong. Also there was serious construction work which was extremely noisy. Ray informed us that our rate reflected this which was great, he kindly also offered $50 dollars towards our 1st food bill. I was unable to send a receipt (I tried every way imaginable but could not do it on my phone, I don't know why) Ray was again condescending, then softened and said he would send the $50. He has not sent it and has ignored all messages from me since. Such a shame to leave a bitter taste and not be honourable.

We loved having an ocean view, and being close to Kapalua amenities. Kahana Village beach was lovely, and only a 5 minute walk.

It was not as quiet as we had hoped. We heard delivery trucks and trash trucks every day starting at 3am including Christmas day. Our air conditioning wasn’t working very well so we had our sliding doors open most of the time. (They did come to repair right away when we reported the issue but it still wasn’t super cold after that) We could also frequently hear guests from the other building coming and going, and the guests in our building slamming doors. Driving around Lahaina is still pretty tough and traffic gets backed up during rush hour times.

Great location, Awesome staff. Close to everything.

Owner stated room was recently updated, however we have stayed there many times and did not see anything updated from any other room that we have stayed in there.
