Beautiful, modern building and nice pool / downstairs chill out area.

Location was not so great as the walk to the city center from the property has a dodgy start. the room was overall clean but the kitchen needs a deep clean as the stovetop was greasy and there were ants everywhere if I had food out for 10 minutes. The ad states there is a gym but it was a little playground for little kids so I think the owner is deliberately deceiving people and needs to change that description.

i like how clean this place is. looks like an aesthetic. the view in the corridor is also beautiful. i will go here again later. recommended‼️

The television doesn't have Netflix apps. Because I'm really interested in watching movies. But it's okay, just watch YouTube even though there aren't any interesting movies.

This is a large studio condo in a fairly new building (Riverine Diamond) on the edge of central Kuching. It is a corner unit on the 11th floor and has large windows, with a wrap-around balcony facing the river, so there are excellent views of the river, the north bank and the hills beyond. It provides excellent value for money. The amenities are quite good, with a small kitchen that has a medium-sized fridge/freezer, a microwave, a kettle, a rice cooker and some very basic cutlery and crockery, plus washing-up liquid. There is a wet room with a shower, toilet and wash basin. There is also a laundry room with a combination washer/dryer that works very well, with washing powder provided, as well as an iron and an ironing board. The air conditioning worked well. There was a TV and broadband, as well as plenty of power sockets. The storage for clothing was extensive, with many hangers and shelves. There is a table with two chairs, plus a smaller desk area with a chair next to the double bed. The balcony has a small table and two chairs. Outside, via the 5th floor, is a large swimming pool you can use. Instructions for entering the unit were sent in advance by e-mail. You need to enter via the visitor car park on the lower level, where there are lock boxes. You will receive the code and get your key that way. I had no problems with this. When you leave, just return the key to the same lock box. The immediate vicinity is on the edge of the city centre and about a 15-minute walk to the core of central Kuching and the start of the riverside walkway. There are many small cafes, food courts and restaurants near the condo, plus convenience stores. This studio provides a good alternative to a hotel if you are planning to stay more than a few days in Kuching. Having the kitchen, washer/dryer and other amenities, I think, compensates for being a bit further away from the city centre.

The location may not be ideal for people who want to be within easy walking distance of the centre of Kuching. Getting to the riverside walkway is at least a 15-minute walk, and going via Patanak and Rumbia Streets may be slightly faster than going via Abell Street but the route is a bit dilapidated and you may see a lot of stray dogs. You can easily use a cheap Grab taxi if you prefer. The broadband froze on an almost daily basis. This could easily be reset by simply switching off the router box and switching it on again, but it got annoying very quickly. Otherwise it worked well, and it was possible to use YouTube on the TV box, though I don't think any regular channels were available. The bed and its pillows were not very supportive, but I suppose this is a matter of taste. The room did not get totally dark at night due to the blinds used for some of the windows, which let you see out but prevent people outside from seeing in. Some people may not be comfortable with this. The area is fairly quiet, but there is a mosque in the vicinity, so you will hear calls to prayer occasionally. The kitchen could use more cutlery (such as a butter knife) and some drinking glasses (there was only one). Finding the (infinity) swimming pool was a bit challenging. It is reached via the 5th floor, where you walk out to the common area and then need to walk way over to the right, where there is a small building that has a door with pool information on it. It's easy to miss. You open the door, walk down the stairs, and then you will see the attendant with a sign-in sheet. Hours are currently 9-5 Monday through Saturday, apart from a few hours twice a week for cleaning.
