Modern 3 bedrooms House, Walking distance to Kulim Town by Mr Homestay

Sangat bersih. Bilik bersih dan ruangan lain pun sangat bersih.

The house is smelly. Difficult to find the location as google maps route us in very difficult way. I believe host should aware of this problem and should share in advance.

Location is good.

The house somehow emit very foul smell throughout our stays of 2 nights. Not sure where the stench comes from but it is really terrible smells. I just wish I could cancel the stay the moment I step into the door.

During our 4-night stay, we found a few unique aspects about this older house that may be worth noting. One thing that stood out was the lack of ensuite bathrooms, even in the master bedroom. Instead, there's one shared bathroom and a separate toilet cubicle, located side by side. The bathroom door was slightly misaligned, so you had to apply some force to lift it into place before you could lock it. On the bright side, the toilet flush had strong water pressure. The three bedrooms were spacious enough, and the living and dining areas were simple but functional. We appreciated having a washing machine, though we weren’t sure which of the liquid products in the kitchen cabinet was the laundry detergent, so we bought our own just to be safe. In terms of toiletries, only body wash and hand soap were provided, so make sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and toothbrush/paste. We also noticed that the main sliding door (the steel one, not the glass) was a bit misaligned and tricky to lock. Something interesting was the ventilators in each room. The middle room's ventilator helped keep the kitchen airy and cooler when turned on. The small spot of natural sunlight in the kitchen was a nice touch too; it’s where we ended up doing hair and makeup, thanks to the mirror installed there (the only one in the house, apart from the one in the bathroom). The sunlight really brightened up the kitchen. We booked this place because it's conveniently located near our base (kampung) for Chinese New Year. However, don't worry — there were no CNY gatherings or events held here; it was just used for accommodation. Overall, while there were a few quirks, the stay was comfortable and provided some nice little conveniences!
