Pacific Breeze Right Next to Huntington Beach Pier! Steps from Beach!!

The location really can’t be beat. Right across the street from the beach. I could hear the waves at night. Blocks from Huntington Pier, 1 block from a coffee shop, 2 blocks to CVS and shopping. The house was VERY clean. Beds were comfy. Good hot water and water pressure. Enough bathrooms for a family. Wonderful stay. I attached a picture that is literally the view from the front door. I’d stay here again!!

Only issue (no fault of host!!) was a crazy dude that wandered into the street by the house and was yelling nonsense so loudly he woke us up one night. He did leave after a bit.

The location

Home was run down. Only 3 burners on the stove worked, the BBQ grill took over an hour to cook the food. A kitchen cabinet was busted, hardly any kitchen utensils, could not get the dishwasher to work. The outdoor patios were dirty, the bedding was old and dingy in the main master bedroom with horrible old flat pillows and a dirty mattress. The white curtains on the main master bedroom were dirty. Both toilets in both master bathrooms barely flushed. The carpet on the stairs going up to the rooftop were disgusting. The house itself is beautiful and the location was great. Needs a better maintenance and cleaning crew. We also had to keep chasing off contractors from the front yard, they were using the hose to wash off their tools. A keypad lock on the front gate is needed.

Lots of space for just the two of us. The outdoor seating options and views were fantastic..

The tub faucet sprayed water everywhere. When we arrived the bathmat at the shower was soaked. We guessed it was because if the tub faucet was left on water went all over the floor. There is damage to the wood at the tub. This should get fixed to prevent further damage. I think it happens when water pressure pushes the screen out of place. Just a better screen might solve it.

The place was great. Spacious, comfortable, had everything we needed. Just across the street from the beach. Roof access with ocean view, inner yard with a grill. We truly enjoyed it, our thanks to the host.
