The Lighthouse, Boutique apartment in the town centre

Great location, had everything we needed. Would stay again.

A little damp at the overall entrance to the flats(not the flat)

Apartment was clean and well equipped. Very comfortable bed Location was excellent.

No parking. Up a steep hill. 2 lots of steps to get down to the apartment and no lighting. Very dangerous in the dark and wet weather. No plug for bathroom sink. Old and worn duvet cover and marked towels. But the apartment would be ideal for young fit people who didn't have a car. Only short term car parking nearby. The road parking was a very busy road and no spaces available during the day.

The location worked for us, near my in-laws' house, but otherwise it was awful. Do not stay here.

This place was awful. We have never done this before, but we left after the first night and stayed somewhere else for the remaining 2 nights of our trip. The flat was not clean - dead insects in the bathroom, hair on the sink, crumbs on the floor of the kitchen and a dirty sponge to wash up with. The most unbearable thing was that the second you step into the hallway of the building, it absolutely stinks of cigarette smoke. It is even worse inside the flat. We checked in and then went to see my in-laws for dinner, and by the time we came back to the flat it smelled like someone had been chain-smoking in there since we left. I can tolerate somewhere not being very clean but this is advertised as non-smoking accommodation and we couldn't stand the smell of smoke. It's not even a stale smell like someone used to smoke in the flat, it smells like someone is actively smoking all the time. The host has been almost completely unresponsive. They did not reply to my message explaining the situation through booking.com and only briefly replied to a text when I prompted them to check their messages saying they would "look into it". I have since text them again and have had no response. I will be escalating this with booking.com to try and get a refund for the 2 nights we did not stay here.

Great location. Nice full apartment.

Coffee and tea + sugar and creamer would be nice. The kitchen was pretty bare bones, and the bed was more like a futon than a bed.
