Nice flat, comfortable beds, quick service when we need that.

Absolutely everything - the house was way more than we expected; well laid out, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed supplied. This house has been thoughtfully renovated and is beautifully finished throughout We LOVED the slatted shades which also kept the flies and mosquitos out, the various terraces and the courtyard where we ate and spent a lot of our time. It was a 10 minute stroll to a number of beaches (at slow toddler pace), all of which were clean etc. there are supermarkets everywhere, our favourite was the supermarket by the station with the market above it. The hosts were so caring - instructions were clear and key collection accompanied by a video which meant we recognised exactly where to go. We had a few small queries before and during our stay and had responses almost immediately. Things to note: we were asked to download a booking-in app which I was hesitant to do as I had booked through booking.com and was worried about using an external app but it was all legitimate and made checking in remotely much easier. We booked the home delivered breakfast for our first morning and it was worth every penny and more - fresh home cooked muffins and banana bread, bread, croissants, yogurts, fruits, jam, butter, orange juice, milk, coffee... the list went on. I recommend it for a great start to your holiday. Thank you for a fantastic stay, we all fell in love with the house. I just hope we didn't leave too much sand in the house!

The only thing I would have liked was instructions for the oven, I tried googling what the oven symbols were but couldn't find them. None of us liked having to leave, my grand daughter was determined to move into her ''holiday home'

Well located for transport connections

We were initially drawn to this property because of the descriptions depicted on Booking.com’s website where it describes the property as having a private rooftop swimming pool. Since this was one of our main criteria, we booked despite the property having five bedrooms and our requirements being only two bedrooms and two bathrooms. On arrival, we were shocked to find a tiny plunge pool. This is at best misleading and at worst, a gross misrepresentation. Moreover, the property was north facing so the ‘plunge pool’ was always freezing cold and in the shade even though it was actually sunny outside. Furthermore, there were only two loungers, clearly not enough for guests of a five bedroom property even if it had been useable. On the middle terrace, the outdoor cushions on the wicker chairs and sofa were wet and filthy. In terms of access to the rooftop terraces, the stairs were dangerously steep narrow and did not have handrails all the way. The cleanliness of the property was also an area of concern. The fridge/freezer(which had a broken catch and had to be manually tucked in otherwise the door would not close properly) still had food in them from the previous guests. This was found when we were being shown around by the agent and he apologised and took the food away to be disposed of. The overall cleanliness was questionable. The filth in the shower area was appalling and I sent the photographs of this to the agent. He agreed to send in a cleaner to carry out another clean in this area. Another issue was being told on arrival that we were not allowed to sit in any of the outdoor areas after 10:30 pm so as not to disturb the neighbours. This was again unacceptable. Had we been told not to make excessive noise after 10.30, that would have been expected but being told we couldn’t sit outside spoiled the holiday experience. This rule was made even more outrageous by the ambient noise everywhere in the property, outside and inside.

Property was excellent, well appointed and well set out. Support from host was first class - almost instantaneous response to any queries or comments. This made the holiday stress free and very enjoyable.
