The best boutique hotel in Laconia, Mani, Gythio. We keep coming back to the same hotel again and again because we absolutely love it! The location is very convenient, the room is very clean, and the owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming!!

We stayed here twice for 3 nights each in April and May 2026. We plan to return to Gythio in the future and staying at L Suites will be our first choice of accommodations. L Suites is a lovely boutique hotel where the owner and staff treat their guests with great attention and personal care. While officially "breakfast is not included," each morning the staff will deliver to your room a "prosfera," a gift to you and your party. It is a light breakfast which may vary by season (e.g., juice, coffee, yogurt & honey, a meat & cheese sandwich). The hotel is comprised of 7 distinct and unique rooms. Four rooms are on the "first floor" (one level up from the street), and three are up one additional level. There is an elevator although the stairs are wide and quite easy to navigate. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and well equipped. The size and shape of the bathrooms, showers, and sinks vary - so if that is very important to you, some attention (discussion with the staff) is recommended prior to booking. Of the 7 rooms, only two have balconies (rooms 3 & 4). These look over a city square with a childrens' playground, a coffee bar, and family gathering area. The square is bustling with activity until ~10 PM each night (later in the summer). We did not mind the playground noise, although car and motorcycle noises were a bit annoying at times. Rooms 1 & 2 have windows that open to an interior courtyard or alley (of no visual appeal) but are adequate for fresh air when desired. If city noises bother you, you may prefer these rooms. On the upper floor are three spacious rooms that convey the feeling of a "loft" or "attic" room. We did not stay in any of these, but the staff showed them to us as we were curious. Despite the "loftiness" of the rooms, they look perfectly comfortable.

Because each of the rooms is unique, it would be nice if the photos on Booking.com clearly identified the room numbers, and when you book, identified which room(s) you are selecting. Also the photos seem more intended to provide an artistic appreciation of the rooms, but when looking for practical matters (like size and shape of sinks and showers) it is hard to know what you are getting. We also found that, like almost every hotel we stayed at in Greece, there is a dirth of shelf space near the bathroom sink, which may be no problem for two people but makes it hard when 3 or 4 are sharing a larger room.

Located close to harbour and restaurants. Easy close by parking. Helpful staff, comfortable bed, huge room and amazing ceiling.

Unfortunately was not very relaxing due to proximity to traffic noise and children’s playground.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό,το προσωπικό ευγενικό,το κέρασμα ήταν αρκετά βοηθητικό να αρχίσει η μέρα και περιλάμβανε τοστ, καφέ, χυμό, κέικ , το σημείο πολύ εξυπηρετικό και υπήρχε πάρκινγκ

Το δωμάτιο κοίταζε πίσω,είχε ένα παράθυρο που στο 1 μέτρο ήταν η βεράντα του γείτονα, δυσκολευτηκα αρκετά βλεποντας ότι δεν υπάρχει καθόλου ορίζοντας. Επίσης την 2η μέρα γυριζοντας από την εκδρομή μας η μυρωδιά του μπάνιου ήταν πολύ άσχημη.
