The lady who ran the reception and breakfast was lovely - helpful, professional and really friendly. I felt like she really cared about us. The location is also great with a big supermarket across the road, a cute little pub next door and easy access to a nearby festival site.

The biggest issue was there was no hot water. I managed a barely lukewarm shower for 2 minutes before it went completely cold. Given that access to a nice shower was the sole reason for my booking (mid way through a camping trip), I was really disappointed. The toilet also leaked and there was a crack in the sink. It was a super weird room - I pulled back the curtain expecting to find a window and instead there was a small, locked glass door and panel leading into a little empty room. Very odd and limited the natural light, which made it hard to find somewhere to do my makeup. The cooked breakfast foods weren’t great (my partner felt the eggs tasted powdered and the hashbrowns were like cardboard) BUT there was plenty there and if you like toast etc then you’re fine. Again, couldn’t fault the lady who was managing the breakfast- she was lovely and offered to cook something extra for us if we wanted.
