The Belle Sequoia Motel RM9

La ubicación es perfecta para visitar el Parque de las Secuoyas porque son 15 minutos en coche, en la misma carretera. La cama es muy cómoda, todo estaba muy limpio, había detalles como cápsulas de café y tés, baño muy completo incluso secador de pelo, por supuesto champú y gel, así como toallas. Bastante bien en general.

Entiendo que la ubicación es estupenda, pero nos ha parecido muy caro para lo que es y lo que ofrece, el precio es de habitación de hotel de muchas estrellas, y no es el caso, aunque estaba fenomenal pero nos ha parecido muy caro. Pero bueno, para hacer noche antes de visitar Secuoyas, está bien. La cercanía se tiene que pagar. Y una cosa que nos pasó es que pusimos el nombre del hotel y Google Maps nos llevó a otro sitio, así que por si acaso, poned la dirección: 43000 Sierra drive, Three Rivers. Por el nombre de The Belle Sequoia Motel nos llevó más lejos.

Wir haben eine Nacht in dem Motel verbracht, um den Sequoia Park zu besuchen. Das Zimmer war top. Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen absolut nicht verstehen. Preis Leistung hat gestimmt. Kleiner Kühlschrank inkl. Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine waren für uns vollkommen ausreichend. Ich fand auch sehr gut das man das Check-Inn selbstständig vornehmen konnte. Parkplätze sind vorhanden! Aus meiner Sicht top.

The bed was nice. Good water pressure.

The “fully-equipped” kitchenette was basically a microwave, coffee maker (no kettle for tea) and a small fridge. No cutlery, no plates. The bottle for body shampoo was empty. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. In the booking confirmation they said they would provide a few bottle of water, as you can’t drink the tap water, but they weren’t provided. And the real dealbreaker: Our air conditioner was broken and made so much noise - around 70db. We couldn’t turn it off so we didn’t sleep for the two nights we were there. No real effort from the property to fix this nor did they apologise. It was a real nightmare.

The location is very convenient to sequoia and facilities are clean and recently remodeled

I had a lot of trouble with the wifi, and since there is no cell reception there either, I couldn’t call or text for help, and it was quite an ordeal to get this sorted since there is no reception on site. I was also unpleasantly surprised that there is no potable water, and had to leave the property again to go buy some. I can’t exactly boil 4 liters of water for each day of hiking in sequoia in the microwave. Kitchenette is really bare bones. Some cutlery and a kettle would have been nice to have at least.

The room was clean bright and spacious. Comfy chairs were a good extra. Outside area was also great

No cutlery/crockery so impossible to prepare any food really. Also as a tea drinker not coffee I miss having a kettle

We could not use the TV.

Really comfy bed and room. The cleaner was really helpful. Close to the sequoia np but we needed snow chains so couldn’t access. But a lovely walk nearby so all ok. The outdoor area is very nice.

The description of ‘fully equipped kitchen’ is totally inaccurate. No plates, bowls or any other kitchen equipment. We did get given some paper plates and a tin opener after we requested them. The tv is great quality but has no channels unless you have your own subscription. With a little extra effort it could be so good.
