Main Street Bed & Breakfast

Beautifully decorated rooms, cozy and comfortable beds. Easy entrance and very secure.

The earplugs were a nice touch as there are many trains that run through downtown Hannibal.

Loved the location and amenities! Owner was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again!

Everything was impeccable. Our host greeted us at our car and took us up to our room. Explained everything to make our stay most enjoyable. Loved the Victorian room and downtown location which made the walk to our dinner destination short and convenient. I would give this host an eleven if I could. Snacks, breakfast and fantastic homemade pumpkin bread left for our enjoyment. We are DEFINITELY booking this room again on a future trip. There are stairs but we had no trouble maneuvering. After all. The building is an 1875 beauty! Not your cookie cutter hotel.

So many thoughtful touches! The owner, Michael, met me as I pulled up to park. He had given me specific directions on where to park and enter. (The address is Main St but the entrance is around the corner on Central). Michael was friendly and helpful, even helping to carry my luggage up! The room was very clean and the decor was themed in a creative and tasteful way. When I said thoughtful touches, the room contained many! (I’m a former Super Host for Airbnb and notice things! lol). There was a lovely little basket with breakfast items including homemade pumpkin bread, granola bars and even a plate with knife and napkins. There were more but I don’t want to spoil all the sweet surprises. The bed had comfy sheets and pillows and was very comfortable. You are downtown near everything and near the river and railroad. But not to worry, Michael, who has thought of everything, supplies earplugs in case any of the noise bothers you. Coffee was available in the room along with teas. Little things like coasters on the night stand and yes, even a box of Kleenex! Something many do not provide. I could go in but suffice it to say, Main Street B&B is on my return stay list.

I can honestly say I was 100% pleased with my stay. As a caution to some though, there are a fair amount of stairs to the second floor.

Loocation, location, location. The breakfast cakes were delightful. They would of been so much better warm and with butter, but they wer very tastey.
