Bay and Karioi view in town

Great location to walk to town. Nice views

Unfortunately this place did not live up to its exceptional reviews. It needed a lot of TLC and a deep clean. The entrance up to the house is quite dangerous and slippery when wet. We arrived for a nice girls weekend away early evening on a cold winters day and there were no matches or kindling provided to start a fire. We had to go out and buy these ourselves. The heaters provided were very dusty, so we were unsure about the safety of them. The house felt damp and there was mould on couch cushions and bean bags. Downstairs beds felt damp. The showers both had wipeable mould in them and we had to clean one of the toilets as it had mould on the seat and urine underneath it. Utensil draw had no been cleaned in some time, there were cobwebs and fly poop around the place. Two dead plants had been left in the living area and there was a random bra pad insert sitting on top of the welcome book when we arrived ? The place has potential as the location is great and it has lovely views, it just needs a good deep clean , some TLC and someone who checks up on it regularly. Definitely over priced for the condition it is currently in. Sadly it was not what we hoped for.
