B&B La taverna di Mulinetti

The property was in a very good location with easy walking distance to the sea and to local restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was clean and the bathtub was a welcome addition and it’s not something you see often in hotel rooms in Italy! Guido was also kind enough to let us bring our dog when our dog sitter wasn’t available which was obviously out of the ordinary but very kind of him!

We felt that the price for two nights was a little high but the location, friendliness of the hosts and comfort of the bed wouldn’t stop us from booking here again.

A real gem of a place in a fantastic location for exploring Ligurian coast. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and everything is within a walking distance. We loved the breakfast with local pastries and chats with Yuliana & Guido, warm and attentive hosts who gave us lots of great tips.

The location is really good,the see is so close and the view is great. Guido was an amazing host!! Had a lot of stories about the area,always were ready to help and made really good breakfasts all over the week. Thank you everything again Guido!

Guido and his family are very nice people. We really enjoyed our stay at their place. And Guido had some great recommendations for day trips that we took. Highly recommended.

Super service, friendly, welcoming, great breakfast (we loved especially the lemon marmalade) - close to the sea, quiet despite the train lines not so far away (excellent windows and the trains are not loud). Super friendly welcome, support during visit - we can only recommend!

The b&b is located in the outskirts of the town of Recco. It is very well connected by train to Genova (the train station is around 1.5 kms far) and there is a bus stop connecting directly to Genova in front of the b&b. The location is nice and is a 3 min. walk to the panoramic walking road in front of the sea. The best of the b&b are the hosts that treat you not like a guest but as a friend. I strongly advise this place and look forward for coming back!

We stayed in the superior room, which is located on the second floor in the building. The hosts/family live on the third floor, but there is a private entrance to the second floor in order to get to the room. The hosts were very sweet and helpful with giving local tips. The building is 20m away from busy train tracks, so we had some trouble sleeping both with an open and closed window since the train goes day and night approx. every 30 min. So in order to fully enjoy your stay, you need to be okay with some noise. There are some nice cliffs close (unfortunately the waves were too big the first 3 days, so we could only swim there one day).

It was not possible to lock the door to our room and it would have been nice to do so (since the stairway goes directly up to the hosts and the hallway is shared with other guests).

Very nice welcome, exceptional hosts, a kind of ‘stay with locals’ experience. Large property with private entrance & nice garden, simple but efficient room and just a small walk to a beautiful rock beach for a swim. Good value for money, happy to have found this last minute on our roadtrip.
