The view and that it was quite and had private parking.

Room is smaller than it looks in the pictures. Bed is a folding bed, so not very comfortable. There is a window in the top and you can't cover it and it is a problem for people who prefer sleeping in the dark.

My decision to leave.

When I arrived I was very disappointed with the property. This is a classic example of web site / internet trick photography making things look bigger than they are. I was met by the owner who saw I was disappointed. She took no interest and referred me to the property management company. I called them and they found me another one of "their" properties but they wanted another £450.00+. When I asked if I could see the new property first they refused and said I must pay first. I wanted to see it because if the first property (no bigger than a bin shed) is what they thought was acceptable to live in I naturally wanted to see what they were offering first. When I mentioned that I was facing the possibility of having to sleep in my car the third person I spoke with said it was up to me! Dreadful attitude. I called booking.com who said that they would investigate and contact the property "managers" and I said that thanks to the attitude if the third person I spoke to, that I thought they had no chance. I have now contacted booking.com 3 times (no one actually called me back) and I found out today that they are paying a "paltry" 10% of the costs to my account. Booking.com nor the property managers took any ownership of my complaint. No one is listening to what I have said. The main point here is that this property is being made to look bigger than it is and that is unfair. They show pictures of a bed that is made up and looks big but when you get there you have to make it yourself by unfolding a small sofa which converts into a small bed which might suit a small child or a dog. I am absolutely disgusted with the property managers (who tell me that they have had hundreds of happy customers) yeah but what about those who aren't and then who are eventually progressively ignored by booking.com. The fact that they "took" the money 3 days prior when many decent properties let you pay on arrival should have rang alarm bells.

The location was amazing, the house was cute and had everything we needed. Friendly welcome!

I knew we booked a place with a sofa bed, but it would have been more comfortable with something like a matras on top of it.

Tiny room. Cold and daughty. Not well insulated.. Fold up sofa bed that wasn't made up when we arrived. Had to ring owners to find out where the bedding was. No sink just a wash up tub. Very basic facilities. Misleading advertising as the pictures show a large bed made up but it is actually a small, uncomfortable sofa bed. Very poor value for money. Would not recommend.
