De onaangename geur in alle kamers. Ik denk door de airconditioning ook de badkamers roken muf. Ook was de locatie heel erg afgelegen van alles. Ook was het moeilijk bereikbaar voor de taxi.

We weren’t 100% happy with our stay at Silencio. The aircon was dripping water from when we arrived which left water over the floor and surfaces in the kitchen. We brought food to cook as it was Nyepi (day of silence when no one can leave their homes) and found there was no gas left for the cooker. We had to use the frying pan on the bbq which wasn’t ideal. It’s been mentioned in another review, but there is an animal living in the roof of the room outside that was making noises all night. It didn’t bother me too much as I had ear plugs but some people may find this off putting. The third bedroom had a strong musty smell like damp. I contacted the property about the above, and at first they said they’d offer me a 10% discount on my next booking, then retracted it and said they couldn’t offer anything because I’d let them know after the stay - not sure why that should make a difference though.

Oh, it was so great! The villa is very comfortable and cozy. I liked the staff, they were helpful and polite. They also provided us with a free shuttle to the airport. Thank you for everything. We will be back again in a week!

The vacation was wonderful! Thank you to the staff for providing a complimentary airport shuttle. We had a delayed flight and our driver Joni picked us up late at night. The staff was in touch with us despite the late hour, so we checked in to the villa without any problems. The staff was quick to respond to all requests. This kind of service is rarely seen in Bali. I recommend it, we are glad we chose this villa!

Awesome staff. I checked in in the morning even though check-in was from 2pm, the staff helped me with my bike rental and also arranged airport shuttle. Will definitely return for a longer stay.

Staff unresponsive Had not been cleaned prior to check in - dried, brown stains around toilet walls. Pool was covered in brown stains. Aircon hadn’t been serviced so didn’t have cold air.

It’s very pretty and the rooms were cozy.

There is a very huge Lizard in the roof. It seems like there is a hole in the roof and the lizard lives there. It made a lot of noise, so we couldn’t sleep very well. The electricity went down a couple times during our 3 night’s stay and the WiFi didn’t work on the last night. There is not a real lock at the gate, so it didn’t feel very safe. There was also an ant nest inside the separate house. The pool lights didn’t work either.

The separate room was good

It is extremely hot during hours of 1pm to 5pm and the AC is not big enough to cool the lounge. The AC is also located in the wrong area and too close to the stove when cooking. TV is in another language. The bathroom in the separate quarters had a vine which attracted a large gecko that fell and injured itself. We took care of the gecko though and it hid in the bathroom cupboard (maybe until it recovers but we left). The construction is still an issue though starts at 7am 7 days a week Gate could not lock properly and we felt alone down the end of the street
