Stunning 1 bed central flat

The location and views of the High Street are good. The induction cooker hob is good even though there is a big crack in the front edge.

The central heating did not work. The cooker hob fan did not work. The electric towel rail did not work The wifi was intermittent The upstairs tenants were very noisy especially late at night and in the early hours. Washing machine occasionally overflows as the waste pipe is not sealed into the plumbing properly. Shower door has come off the runner and is potentially dangerous. Hardware missing from top runner. Some of the problems were brought to the attention of the landlord and they acknowledge the issues but did nothing.

I sent the host severl messages on booking.com and they were never responded to. This was somewhat frustrating.

The location is fantastic and accommodations very comfortable. It exactly what we were looking for.

The hood over the stove did not work

The internet connection was extremely poor throughout my stay, making it difficult to work or even stay connected. Despite raising the issue, there was no resolution, and follow-up communication was impossible because the person didnt answer my calls. To make matters worse, after I checked out and requested a copy of my invoice, I was met with unprofessional and unsettling behavior. Instead of providing assistance, his conduct was intimidating and completely unacceptable. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important for others to be aware. Basic amenities and respectful customer service are non-negotiable—and unfortunately, this hotel missed the mark.

There were problems with the heating and hot water but this was sorted out quite quickly. The plumber made a mess that I was unable to clean up as there was not cleaning equipment. Heated towel rail did not work. Local parking expensive

The location is great, really central and felt really safe at the apartment - there are multiple locked doors, so the place feels really secure. The bed is very comfortable and the whole flat is far more spacious than it looks in the pictures! The kitchen is well-equipped and the TV has Netflix which is great.

There were a couple of technical hiccups during my stay - the kitchen tap is so hot I got a burn from it, be careful when touching the pipe when the hot tap is on! The curtain rail fell down on top of me and though the owner was apologetic and offered a partial refund as compensation, he never replied after that and the refund never happened. The place was also missing any cleaning supplies, which the owner again offered to reimburse me for but didn't in the end. It didn't disrupt the stay, it was still a wonderfully central property with good amenities, close to everything, a nice place.

Was hard to get out of main door second night like it was jammed shut and neighbours were arguing Sat night
