Polyester sheets and overpowering smell of toxic 'air freshener' in the hallway

The outdoor space was nice

It wasn't clear from the accommodation description that this was just a room in a house where the owners are actively living it was uncomfortable and extremely awkward, the room was adequate, no tv just a bed and wardrobes, the other facilities you pay for I.e. the kitchen, bathroom and living room, could not be used due to the owner commanding the space, understandably so as its their house !! I stayed with my son, had I known this was the set up I would not have booked it, the description needs updated to adequately reflect the exact living situation. The kitchen was disgusting to say the least, food cluttering the workspaces, unable to use the kitchen at certain times as the owner was "cooking" the fridge was stacked with the owners cooking and so left no space for others to use it for their own food storage, it was also in a really bad state of cleanliness and the bathroom was subpar for the cost. I am shocked that others have rated this accommodation so highly, I certainly didn't have the same experience and would not recommend. I left after the first night as I couldn't bear to stay there any longer.
