This was a nice, freshly renovated flat in an excellent location. The shower was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the facilities in the kitchen as this allowed us to cook from home when desired. We also really loved the selection of books in the living room area, especially “An Opinionated Guide to Margate”, which gave us loads of great ideas of what to see and where to explore. Thank you for a great stay!

The main thing we didn’t like about the property was no fault of the apartment itself, but the building in which the apartment was in. The smell of stale smoke was quite off putting and did knock our first impressions of the property, which is a shame because the apartment itself is great! I know this is likely out of the owners control but thought it was worth mentioning. Aside from that, the only two areas for improvement would be to provide a sharp kitchen knife in the kitchen, as the lack of this limits the amount of cooking possible in the apartment. This seems to be the only utensil missing though - it’s a fantastic offering otherwise. The other thing is that the front door is incredibly difficult to shut, which isn’t an issue for younger guests but might be an issue for older guests.

Tidy enough and fairly well furnished.

Lack of ventilation and daylight were big issues. Any windows opened were a potential security issues as opened out onto the pavement. Windows were also dirty and full of mold. Disappointed essentials like dishcloth and sponges were not provided. No anti-slip mat in the bathroom.

I stayed here with my husband and my daughter with our little dog and we had a very good night sleep. The owner communicated well in advance regarding the access. The property is close to the sea side , about 15 mins walk. The property very clean and the beds are so comfortable. The kitchen facility is a plus as it has complete cookware, there is a microwave too! And dog is allowed to stay!
