AUV central, comfortable with all facilities we needed
Quite noisy especially in the early hours with commercial vehicles. Didn’t like the internal steep stairs. Tight parking underneath but appreciated having parking within city centre.
GBAUIt was a spacious apartment in a beautiful building. In the middle of Christchurch so very easy to get around. Three good size really comfortable bedrooms were perfect for 3 friends travelling together.
There were a few building maintenance issues that needed sorting. Temporary fixes were made to make our stay comfortable. Also we couldn't find manuals for the electrical appliances. Particularly the TV!
NZLocation. Central to everything that we did need car for 4 days. Walked to restaurants, conference, cafes, bars, playground and kids activities.
NZI liked the location and the spaciousness of the property. We travelled with another couple, but with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms we could have had another couple and not felt crowded. It was very nice to have access to a pool, sauna and gym, and the wine bar at the property was an added bonus.
GBAULoved the size of the apartment and of course, the building is gorgeous. We travelled as a couple with my mother in law plus my brother in law and nephew. There was ample space for our group and the bonus was having our own bathrooms. My husband and I used the well equipped gym, sauna and pool. Excellent location. Unexpected surprise was that the apartment came with its own car park. We will definitely stay again
Enjoyed it all. Late check in didn’t quite work because the doors to where the keys are kept was locked. Wasn’t an issue because half our group had already checked in so we could rescue the late arrivals.
USIt was so grand, and yet so comfortable. The scale and the architecture were just amazing. The woodwork and depth of the windowsills, and the elegant staircases / all just amazing.And seemingly untouched by the earthquakes.
To be honest, the lighting. Very harsh. Need something more aesthetic and warm in the living room and bedrooms.
