Sogakope Beach Resort & Spa

My current business trip to SOGAKOPE Beach Resort & Spa has been a challenging one, despite glimmers of excellent service. I must commend the front desk staff for their accommodating nature and the security team for always being friendly. The spa experience was fantastic, and the jet ski rental staff were delightful. Unfortunately, these positive aspects were largely overshadowed by an incredibly disappointing experience at the resort's restaurant. The lack of selection and availability on the menu was a constant issue, compounded by poor, and at times, outright rude staff. This made every meal a chore rather than a pleasure, reaching a point where my colleagues and I chose to leave the resort for a weekend in Accra just to get a decent meal and a break from the subpar service. We've even resorted to boiling water and making noodles in our rooms to avoid the restaurant. While I believe SOGAKOPE Beach Resort & Spa has immense potential, particularly with its friendly staff in other departments, the persistent issues within the restaurant significantly detracted from our two-week stay. As it stands, I regret to say I would not choose to return, and if given the option, I would seek alternative accommodation for the remainder of my business trip. Edit: The general manager expressed his sincere apologies and seemed to do what he could to address the issues. My colleagues and I met with him and shared our experience and he took notes and we left with him assuring us correction.

Awesome environment

This property is exceptionally beautiful. It’s my favorite place to stay when I visit Sogakope.
