Finca Oaxaca - Casa Tortuga

La atención del personal. Muy amables y la habitación estaba muy limpia y era muy acogedora.

Del alojamiento todo muy bien, sólo que uno de los gallos que estaba suelto por allí estaba lleno de bichos.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. The owner and his team were exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to help with anything. One of the highlights was the food—absolutely delicious! Every meal felt carefully prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. The rooms are simple, so if you’re looking for luxury, this might not be the place. However, everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which is much more important to me. The location is fantastic—close to both the sea and nature, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and exploration. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and heartwarming stay.

The owner of the farm is really kind and made us every morning fresh coffe and sometimes wonderful breakfast. He is a very good cook. I can recommend the ice coffe with oat milk. He always down for a little talk. It was a perfect stay! I will definitely come back soon!! :))

The friendly and helpfull people. We felt ‘at home’. Clean spacious appartment. A big plus is that there are hardly musquitto’s at this island!

The shower had some challenges, but for sure not a showstopper.

I fell in love with Finca Oaxaca Casa Tortuga y Casa Iguana and it's quirky charm. The location was amazing with a beautiful view and we caught the sunrise over the mountains from our patio every morning. Julio was the perfect host, showing us around the garden and offering us a drink on arrival, as well as introducing us to his cats and dog. (I left my beach blanket behind and he has also kindly offered to post it back to me in London!). It is a work in progress and Julio is in the process of adding a sweat lodge and outdoor tub. The property has a real boho feel to it and you can see that Julio has put his heart and soul into it. I can't wait to go back!

very relaxed finca place to stay, we had a little cosy flat, 2 bedrooms and private bathroom. Private car parc and in walking distance from Agaete fishingvillage, via ‘private’ mountain hiking route. we felt at home with their mexican-italo vibe, warm welcome, good chats, music, few free-running chickens, cats and dog Tula, grrreat food and drinks

The premises are beautiful and everything you need (supermarket, beach, restaurants, hiking trails) is in walking distance. There are lots of parking spaces around but you even get your own. The animals are very cute and friendly.

- huge window on ground floor could not be locked - hot water in the kitchen not working - kitchen was very poorly equipped (no cutting knife, no trash can, ...) - it was not clean (sheets had large spots, floor was not clean) - despite the fact that it says that parties are not allowed on the premises, there was a party with verry loud music and at least 40 guests until at least 4 in the morning and the party's official advertisement (which we obtained from the party's guests) read 'until 7 am'
