"Experiencia local."

Lo mejor definitivamente fue la hospitalidad del dueño. Para llegar hay que coger una barca, este servicio es público para llegar a la isla durante todo el día, muy barato. Pero si le avisáis con antelación él tiene su barca y ayuda con mucho gusto. Nos regaló unas pulseras echas a mano, muy entrañable.

La ducha está directamente encima del wc, por lo que se encharca todo.

Omar, the host was very hospitable. Knowing I would leave early morning to a tour, he left me with this increíble lunch bag outside my bedroom's door. It sabes my day. I met his brother Abu and with him I also leave my apreciation for the Best chicken and rice ever.

Everything was good.

Fiyat/performans oteliydi. Omar çok yardımcı oldu. Ebu Simbel turu ve Luxor için taksi ayarladı. İyi niyetli, çalışkan ve saygılı biri.

Ebu Simbel tur minibüsü konforsuzdu, diz mesafesi sıfıra yakındı, gidiş dönüş 7 saatlik yol maalesef işkence gibi geçti. Luxor için ayarlanan taksici de sanırım illegal çalışıyordu, bizi saçma sapan köy yollarına soktu ve yolumuz yarım saat civarı uzadı. Şehre girince de polis kontrolü olan yerlerde bizi indirip kontrolden sonra tekrar almayı teklif etti. Bitmek bilmeyen bir yoldu. Omar'ın yerinde olsam bu kişilerle çalışma fikrini bir kez daha düşünürdüm.

Quiet and clean room, with AC and hot water working perfectly. The ferry to the mainland is fast, cheap and very regular.

Elephantine Island is small and 2 nights would have been enough. Because we were there for 3 nights, it would have been nice to have a shelf or two in the bathroom or bedroom to use for our toiletries. We also added a small chair in the bedroom. It is just fine for a short stay.
