Cozy room in a serene house

Nothing at all. The only thing was that since there was no toiletry’s, towels, kettle provided ( which should have been there since day one ) and we told the property person for that the room we booked had all these facilities, they provided the stuff but 2 days later. Very bad.

I wasn’t given this room. The property in charge person said it’s overbooked and gave us a horrible room initially. Pictures he showed of a better looking room but gave us different poor state room which in your terms should be equally comfortable or better to the one we booked. The heaters, hot water for sinks not working, even the shower water had some issues . No cleanliness at all as compared to booking.com standards. Felt like we were cheated and felt unsafe to stay there. It’s only when we called him up and told him to give us a better room, we had to travel with all our luggage to that other room which was a little better than the first but nothing compared to booking.com standards. No cleanliness and ambience.

I normally don’t write bad report. But this needs to be addressed. I have booked the above mentioned room on Oct 16th 2024 for a night stay with my pregnant wife to attend a wedding next day morning in Birmingham. For my utter surprise the room was in awful state, not been cleaned since the last customer been there, dirt all over the room and the beddings were not changed. I called the property owner who said the cleaner has not arrived today and he never owned his mistake of not giving a clean room for the customer and furthermore said in the current circumstances he could offer a help and that we should change the dirty bedding by ourself and then use the room if we like which I refused to take and asked him to arrange the full refund.
