Dirty microwave, hair in bed, no bathroom door

View over water, lots of information from host, spacious.

Needs a bit of maintenance, bed is too soft for two people.

Convenient location and host communicates most of time. See below for when she didn’t.

People upstairs were noisy for several hours. Bathroom window shade doesn’t cover entire window and only a curtain for a door. Kitchen faucet wasn’t attached so it wobbled all around. Hoped for early check in and host said it is usually possible but not guaranteed. I arrived at 1:30 and the place hadn’t been cleaned yet. We left and asked host what time we could expect it to be ready but never heard back. We just stayed out in the city until after 5:00.

The location is very close to public transport and only a short walk to the city centre. The views were amazing. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We also liked little luxuries like having a fridge and microwave so we could prepare food ourselves.

The check-in process was very quick and clear, the location is in a short walk from the central part of the city and the city viewpoint, all the suggestions from the host were helpful

I guess the location was okey. It was not too far away from the city center, and relatively close to Aksla Mountain.

-washing machine and broken drainage system- We arrived and we heard the loud noise of the washing machine. During our stay we wanted to do our laundry but the machine makes big weird noises, we thought it was going to explode (it wasn’t even on the highest RPM setting …), the entire apartment was shaking. But that is not all, the drainage system is broken so all the water from the washing machine and the shower flooded the bathroom. We did inform the owner of the leaks, but he never got back to us. He just sent us some more advertising for nearby restaurants and his friends doing tours. -not cleaned after previous customers- The apartment was dirtier when we arrived than when we left because in order for us to stay we had to do a good cleaning session ourselves. The dishes were dirty, the tables and sink had food rests on/in it, there was a condom wrapper in the bedsheets,… it felt like the apartment didn’t get cleaned after the last people. -noisy location- The location was okey because we were kind of close to the city center but you need to take in consideration the two big roads that surround the apartment. We had other issues with the noise, we could hear the voices and the TV from the apartment above. -needs a lot of improvement- The apartment itself has potential to be an okey rental place… but there has to be some changes in order to be more comfortable and clean. There is no door between the kitchen and the bathroom, only a curtain… and the ceiling is cracking and paint comes off of it… the isolation could be better and the cables could be changed in order to be safer, especially in the kitchen with water.

Very convenient, had everything you would want for a solo stay of a week. Very comfy bed!
