Ipoeng Rest Bed & Breakfast

Elen and her family are incredibly welcoming and helpful, you will feel really at home with them. We arrived by ferry from Togean at 5 am and they came to pick us up and let us have breakfast and rest at their home until our room was ready. The day After we took a night bus and they let us stay in our room until the afternoon. They also helped us to book the bus and rent a scooter. It has been really sad leaving them!

Unfortunately the place is noisy at night, there are dogs, roosters and also a mosque very loud nearby. Bathroom is shared and there is only one so it can happen to wait a lot for your turn.

Staff very helpful and very close to the ferry to Togean. They helped us book the tickets and dropped us at the ferry at a very convenient time.

Very close mosque waking you up at 5am. Be sure you go to bed early

Ellana and her family were amazing sorting ferry tickets, taking us to ferry and making whole experience easy. This is a budget B&B and for the money no complaints, apart from her son thrashing me at chess.

Very good location if you plan to take the ferry from Gorontalo to Wakai - only 8 minutes walk. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly - they helped us with literally everything. They took us shopping, for lunch, bought tickets for the ferry and even walked us to the ferry to show us a specific place to sleep. The accommodation is simple but very clean. Unlimited coffee, tea, toast and bananas for breakfast are available. If you are sensitive to noise, it is worth taking earplugs with you.
