Schoon en mooi modern appartement, het inchecken ging soepel en de overdekte prive parking is helemaal top.

De bank zat niet comfortabel.

Es war alles genau so wie beschrieben. Tolle Lage (Bahnhof ums Eck, in die Stadt, zum See und zu Carrefour sowie einigen Lokalen nur wenige Fußminuten). Trotzdem so ruhig wie es in so zentraler Lage nur sein kann. Die Terrasse (nur Morgensonne) war bei dem heißen Wetter ideal und Gold wert - geht zu einem Parkplatz (Sackgasse) raus, ist aber nicht störend - wir haben sie viel genutzt. Ausstattung der Küche und in der Wohnung generell prima - alles neu und alles da, was man so braucht, auch zum Kochen. Das Auto stand die ganze Zeit in der Garage, wir haben uns stressfrei und günstig zu Fuß, per Bus und Bahn und auch Boot auf Ausflüge begeben. Das Haus ist ein Neubau und modern, sauber und top gepflegt- alle anderen Wohnungen sind glaube ich keine Ferienwohnungen. Das Schlafzimmer war nachts angenehm kühl (auch ohne die Klimaanlage zu nutzen) und Betten gut, wir haben prima geschlafen.

Das Anmeldeprocedere per Voicecall (um den Pin für die Schlüsselbox zu erhalten) ist etwas nervig... aber wenn man dies - so wie wir - entspannt noch vor der Abreise von zuhause erledigt auch stressfrei und schnell - dann ist das Ankommen völlig problemlos. Die Garage (im Haus) ist nicht eigentlich zu klein, aber man muss etwas zirkeln. Wer viel mit dem Auto unterwegs sein möchte kann aber auf dem kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus parken.

I find it ridiculous that when you pay almost 600 eur for 2 nights, they ask if you want a crib for 10 eur for your child… anywhere we traveled yet - it’s obviously included. No flexibility on earlier check in/ later check out even for an hour though we traveled in not so busy season

The apartment is clean and matches the photos. In spring 2026 there is an ongoing construction right next to it - loud and dusty and dirty.

Check this property on Google Maps before booking. Posting is restricted there — Google typically does this when review manipulation is detected. Yet the parent company has 600+ reviews, all 5-star. Draw your own conclusions. What to expect: ∙ They require uploading ID photos and a facial selfie of every guest (including our 5-year-old) to a private portal. They also offered to receive documents by WhatsApp — an unsecured channel. Italy had a recent breach where guest documents leaked online. ∙ Be prepared for misleading statements (they claim Italian law requires this — it does not), rude communication, and pressure tactics. If you come from Germany or anywhere with GDPR awareness, you will be shocked. ∙ Staff laughed at us during the video verification while our family waited at the entrance for hours, after a long travel day, while we watermarked documents and argued with their team. ∙ After we left, a manager kept pushing for a personal phone call and refused to communicate in writing, which felt unprofessional and pressuring. ∙ The surroundings: construction site next door, a run-down building behind, and the terrace overlooks a parking lot where people stare at you. My recommendation: skip Como city and book a proper hotel in Menaggio or Bellagio. Far better experience and standard, lawful check-in procedures.
