Bardolino Center Apartments

The apartment was spacious and close to Bardolino centre, in a quiet street just off the busier parts of the town. There were two spacious balconies although one was unfurnished. The bed was comfortable as was the sofa bed. We had no contact with staff other than by text message but that was adequate in giving instructions about entry etc, although a little last minute. There was a printed sheet of information inside but only in Italian and German, not English. The air conditioning was very efficient.

Although the standard of decoration was good on the whole, the fixtures and fittings were a little worn and in some cases needed renewal. There was an open bin in the kitchen and the oven needed cleaning. The wardrobe was full of winter duvets etc in their covers leaving no room for our clothes. The outside furniture was in need of maintenance. The balcony door in the bedroom had no blind, only a thin curtain, making it very light early in the morning.

Location Bad was comfortable

Unfortunately, our experience with this host was quite disappointing. 1. During our stay, the host made inappropriate, sexist and chauvinistic jokes that were uncomfortable and unprofessional. 2. At the day of our arrival, the host insisted on knowing personal details about our travel plans without providing any clear reason, under the pretense of “being helpful”, calling us very demanding persons before we even requested anything (just because we speak Slavic language) 3. The laundry service is not available at the property. We asked the host to recommend any public laundry service (being ready to pay). He was very nice proposed us to use property’s washing machine located on basement, but the host changed his mind during even our first laundry cycle without any explanation 4. Upon our arrival at 8:00 PM (well after the official check-in time of 3:30 PM), the apartment was not fully prepared. The host was still checking appliances, removing used linens, and searching for an iron. 5. the apartment was not properly cleaned: the floor was dusty and visibly dirty. kitchen utensils was dirty, the shower drain was blocked passing water to accumulate water and drain very slowly Overall, the lack of professionalism and basic hospitality made our stay less enjoyable than it should have been.

Everything was very good. Easy communication with the host, spacious and clean apartment, parking lot in front of the window.

Nice big apartment with kitchen, big bed, sofa bed. On the boundary of the historical centre and walkable distance to everything you would ask for. The ferry, bus stop and all the restaurants are walkable. Good value for money.

Lovely spacious apartment in a fabulous location. We enjoyed our 3 night stay and Alex was a very welcoming, helpful host with good communication. The apartment is just a few minutes walk to the lake, bars, shops, supermarket, restaurants and bus stop.

The property was very clean and in a very central location of Bardolino, it has good transport options and the host was very responsive.

The sofa bed advertised wasn’t very comfortable and I don’t think it should be classed as a bed as it doesn’t have a mattress. We had to take turns sleeping on it as there was an uncomfortable pole in the centre. In winter months it is very quiet in Bardolino so it would be good to have some information on activities.

Everything. Perfect location, wonderfully all around. Clean, good facilities, well decorated. I would love to live there long term if I could afford. Felt very safe, easy check in and check out and the communication was great.

Nothing really, I would live a firmer pillow, but this is personal preference
