Excellent all round

The house was nice.

The heating and hot water was not working upstairs. The extraction fan didn't work in the kitchen and there was various marks and sofa was damaged.

On arrival the house gives a good initial impression and overall the facilities offered were very good. However...

Upon closer inspection there were lots of little niggles and the entire house was very dirty to an unacceptable level. Including: 1. Dirty towels 2. Dirty cutlery and utensils 3. Dirty bedlinen - this included hair, dry grass, stains and dried blood! If I had to guess then the linen had just been flipped after previous guests as it didn't smell fresh either. 4. The beds do not have mattress or pillow protectors. 5. Layers of dirt and rubbish underneath the couches. 6. Loose kickboard in kitchen which fell onto the toes of one of our family when they opened the dishwasher. 7. Old scrubbing sponges left by the sink. 8. Loose taps on the shower controls. 9. The water in the showers, especially downstairs, not draining away after use.This suggests that the plug/sieve had not been cleaned. 10. Broken garden furniture. 11. Broken chair at the main table. Presumably this had been broken by previous guests who had just pushed it back into place. However, we only found out when my pregnant daughter went to sit down and the chair collapsed under her! 12. Oven and microwave haven't been cleaned in a while. 13. Wardrobe in downstairs bedroom has broken wardrobe doors and no rail so you can't hang any clothes up. 14. Shower mat in the ensuite bathroom was black with dirt. The shower itself still had hairs and dirt on it and the floor under the sink was thick with dirt and dust. 15. Dirty bath in the upstairs bedroom. 16. Dirty pair of socks left in bedsidr cabinet of ensuite bedroom. 17. Many of the drawers throughout the whole house have items left in them from previous guests or nuts/bolts/screws etc from when the furniture was put together. We booked this property based on the reviews that had been left, especially those lauding how clean the place was kept and presented.

It was a good location for a wedding we were attending. Plenty of space and comfortable beds

Previous faults identified in other reviews had not been repaired. The family bathroom overlooking the main road had no blind and the bath mats in all bathrooms should be replaced.

The house was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. Lots of evidence of the previous guests' stay, including party balloons and open food in the kitchen cupboards. They did a follow-up clean during our stay, but it still was poor. No toiletries in bathrooms except for handsoap. Bathmats were soiled. Not enough toilet paper. If they are going to continue to rent out this property, they need to raise their game. Simply not acceptable for the price paid.

That’s the horrible experience I ever had for stayed in air b&b. The house is absolutely dirty, all bedsheets are with blood stains and yellowish. The freezer is unclean, the flooring is absolutely dirty. It was absolutely ruined our trip with family, we couldn’t sleep with the dirty bed
