Urban Apt Next University 3

There is nothing to complain about here. A large, well furnished room, with a/c,, cookable kitchen, a good bathroom, and a balcony (although a ground floor balcony is kind of pointless) for an excellent price, especially for a multiple day stay (21€/night for two, mid April, PLUS an 18.50€ cleaning fee per stay). The university neighborhood is quite active with a variety of eateries on the next block and a medium size supermarket just beyond. There is some evening noise but nothing out of the ordinary. Quiet at night. Free parking is right outside the door. Although the studio is adjacent to the university, it's a 25 minute bus ride (4.5 km) from Heraklion's old city. We liked it o much that we stayed an extra day.

Absolutely nothing

Extremely loud noise of cars passing by on the highway during the night. Bathroom ceiling was covered with mold. HORRIBLE SMELL in the room. I checked out within 15 mins of entering. Got no refund. Furthermore, the property keeps harassing me with daily messages with weird headlines. For example, I received an email from them with someone else's email in subject line.

right next to a bus stop, a cafe and a supermarket, the place was very clean and comfortable, absolutely no problems and good communication with the host.
