Ash, Birch and Rowan Self Catering Cabins

Além da vista ser absolutamente incrível, a Rowan Cabin tinha tudo o que precisávamos. Muito bem equipada, confortável, perfeita para uma família de 4. Os miúdos adoraram ver os pássaros e os coelhos cá fora, e a pequena caminhada até ao lago. Local de base perfeito para passar alguns dias nas Highlands.

Relax just as home

Esther and Nick were the loveliest hosts! They were very friendly and gave us tips of where to go and places to eat around the area. The cottage far exceeded our expectations - the view out the windows was unreal and the sky was so dark at night that we could see all the stars! Would definitely go back again.

What a brilliant place to stay! The location is absolutely stunning, and the views across the loch and back to the mountains are spectacular and ever changing as the weather moves in and out. Nick and Esther were really friendly and welcoming right from the outset and gave us loads of information on local walks and cycle routes, places to eat and visit (Followed up with an email as there was so much to take in 😀). One of their boys came up once we were settled in and took our boys out on their bikes to explore, giving us a moment to grab a coffee and enjoy the view - bliss. Getting out on the SUP’s and paddling around was good fun - the water temperature was ‘refreshing’ but not an issue. Catching the ferry across to Ardgour for Pizza Night was a top tip and a great way to spend a Friday evening. We had a great time at Beside the Loch and have already recommended to friends. We’ll definitely be back to explore the area a bit more.

Nick and Esther are two wonderful people. Their hospitality goes far beyond that of a typical host—you truly feel like you’re meeting two good friends. The location is magical, perfect for enjoying nature, whether through plenty of activities or simply relaxing and taking in the view the accommodation offers. The house has spacious rooms, was very clean, and felt cozy and welcoming. The combination of these two exceptional people and the accommodation itself truly elevated our stay and made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it without any hesitation to families, couples, or groups of friends.

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and so everything we needed was close by. The cabin was well equipped and warm with a cute outside space to star gaze. Will definitely be back!
