West Wicklow 5 person Cabin

Dieses Blockhaus hat uns nach anfänglichen Problemen die Unterkunft zu finden positiv Überrascht. In dem kleinen Häuschen können 5 Personen ohne Probleme wohnen. Es gibt eine Küche, die Möglichkeit Wäsche zu waschen und eine schönen Abend zusammen zu haben. Die im Schlafzimmer vergessenen Kopfhörer wurden uns auf Nachfrage nach einer Woche zugeschickt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 2 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es befindet sich auch ein gutes Restaurant in der Nähe. Die Lage der Häuser ist dennoch relativ Ruhig da sie durch Wohnhäuser von der Hauptstraße akustisch gut getrennt sind.

Die Gegend fühlte sich noch nicht fertig an. Es befindet sich scheinbar aktuell noch eine Baustelle oder Gewerbe in der Nähe wodurch ich die Nacht mit geschlossenen Fenster verbracht habe. Man hörte ständig Lkw's die beim Rückwärts fahren piepen. Da kann der Betreiber dieser Unterkunft allerdings nichts für. Allerdings klappt die Kommunikation mit dem Betreiber nicht so gut und wir konnten die Unterkunft anfänglich nicht finden und durch ein verschlossenes Tor nicht betreten. Nach mehrfachen Anrufen stellte sich heraus das uns die "Check Inn" E-Mail nicht erreicht hat. In dieser steht alles Notwendige um das Gelände zu finden, das Tor zu passieren und das Blockhaus zu betreten.

Good location, lovely cabin, quiet area. Very relaxed. Comfy beds!

Tv and fire remotes need a bit of TLC, tough to use without buttons and batteries falling out

Excellent location right in town, spacious accommodation with everything you could need for a short stay. Kitchen facilities were numerous but we only used the kettle and the toaster !!! Great options to eat out within a short walk, no need to cook !!

The shower had a leak was still useable, only concern was the waste of water - note to Host to investigate.

Fomos apenas uma noite de passagem para as montanhas Wicklow, mas tivemos uma estadia muito agradável. Decoração industrial acolhedora, roupa de cama e banho boas. O alojamento está integrado num complexo de Camping em desenvolvimento, que quando estiver totalmente concluído será muito agradável.

Não houve nada de que não tenhamos gostado, apenas a necessidade de pequenos arranjos. A entrada pode parecer um pouco apertada para o carro, mas existe estacionamento na localidade e é gratuito.

Owner never contacted us about check in procedure until over two hours after check-in time and only after being prodded by a manager at the adjoining pub (thank you Kathleen!). Sloppy operation and by far the worst Booking.com stay we have experienced in four trips to Ireland. There is more to mention about this property but i will leave it at that.
