Central room with key, shared bathroom Wifi

Great position, easy walking distance of bus and train station, and city centre. Clean, basic, very reasonably priced!

8th floor, with lift to 7th floor, and flight of stairs! (not an issue for us but might be for some....)

A very clean room with a big bed on the top floor of a centrally located apartment building. Everything Santander was close by but it's not a big city. The price is unbeatable.

Lack of access to the kitchen which meant I had to go out everytime I wanted coffee. I drink a lot of it but it's really not a major headache.

everything except for the fact that the host didn’t show up as planned at 10:30pm to hand me the keys and hoped for some random neighbor to let me into the building (something that did not occur). Waited for approximately 40 minutes until some woman (not the host) gracefully showed up

The host. She was so lovely and nice. The location was great too.

There is no wardrobe in the bedroom

The only positive things were kinda clean sheets, good location and a working bathroom (when not endlessly occupied by other guests)

I don’t know where to start. The apartment is on the 7th floor (top floor right under the roof). Elevator goes until 6th and from there you walk. We were welcomed by a lady who only spoke Spanish. No biggie, but she was just saying “no” and “cerrado”, pointed at some doors that were duct-taped.. The room was not the room in the picture and had we known there was a second rented room and thin walls, we would never have booked. The toilet is in the bathroom, not very convenient when neighbor-girl decides to shower for over an hour. We were aware that it was a cheap accommodation, so we were prepared to have not many facilities, but this was not doable. The room of around 12 sqm consisted of a small double bed with bad mattress, a single second bed with even worse mattress on top of a worn out carpet. And a little vanity table with a malfunctioning tv hanging above it. A piece of cardboard with the wifi code was the only information provided. No place to store your clothes or luggage. No blinding curtains, no bin, no decent place to sit, no night lamp, no smoke detector or safety exit. No place to store some water or food. No fan. The heat, mosquitos, and loud neighbours will ruin your night (it was october!) We booked for 3nights and left after 1 complete sleepless night. I sent them a message that we left and why. They could not even be bothered to answer me. These people have no idea how to run an accommodation and the apartment is not suitable for pension rooms. Yes it’s cheap, but this was a never again experience.
