The Plaza Hotel - Milwaukee

I liked the historical nature of the hotel with the green awning, location, reasonably priced parking in back ($15 per day), friendly staff, great in-house breakfast/lunch cafe, and outdoor ivy-covered patio. I liked having a real key to open the rooms and outside door. Stayed on first floor for accessibility. Don't believe there is an elevator to upper floor.

I wished the bathroom had hooks to hang clothes or toiletry bag. A small wedge or ramp down from the parking lot level to the passageway to building 1&2 would have been nice for suitcases.

Good location, and room was nice and very clean

Room was next to the cafe so was loud from 6:30am

Le manque d’isolation phonique et thermique (nous avons dû demander un radiateur d’appoint car le chauffage etait hs).

The location was not bad: 15 min walking from downtown. I thought the hotel was pretty central to the Milwaukee downtown, but it wasn't. Anyways, it wasn't very far from it

The building is old, the rooms are old. The bathroom was very old. The doors make noises. The bed was not comfortable. Old furniture. Even the smell

We were out by the kitchen so at 7am they were banging pots and pans . I don’t need to be waken up at 7am

Comfortable rooms. Walkable to Summerfest. Happy hour drinks!

Cool vibe and excellent food in the cafe! And it had a ceiling fan in the room, which is hard to find. Best hotel bed I have experienced in awhile.

Loud air conditioner window unit.
