Well appointed and well equipped accommodation. Wonderful views over the ocean. Excellent restaurant 6 minutes away.

Steep climb to reach the casa rural. You need a car with more than a 1 lite engine.

Probably the best accommodation we had in Tenerife until now. You will need a car to get here, but it's worth it. The house itself is a typical Canarian one, with some modern amenities. The kitchen is well stocked, there is air conditioning in one of the upstairs bedrooms and the views from the deck are great. All in all, a very comfortable stay and the hosts are very friendly and attentive.

Unusual location. Quiet up in to the mountains. Beautiful view and terrace. Loved to use the grill. Friendly and helpful staff.

We were missing an oven. Bigger fridge would be nice. And air condition in the other bedroom. But still loved the place and would love to come back.

Casa Rural is exceptionally located, quiet and amazing place to spend relaxing vacation with terrific view of the sea shore and green garden around. The house is fully equipped, well arranged and is very authentic. A present from the house owner=fruit bowl and wine was a nice surprise.

Everything was great.

Quiet location far away from crowded tourist locations. On the other hand you need to have a car. The host was very helpful (although with English is speaking a bit only a man). The house is on a mountine side and usually it is a bit colder than directly on the coast what in essence is a benefit in hot days. The house is in a rustical style/smell, fully furnitched. I can only recommend the accomodation for travellers who would like to enjoy quiet location and relax on a big terrace with a beautiful ocean view, grill and going on trips by their car. Not be surprised the host is living in a separated house and there is an another house for booking with shared garden.

During heavy rain (what is not unusual on Tenerife) in the main bed room on upper floor was leaking from the roof near main wardrobe what shoud be fixed by the host...

Lovely authentic Spanish Finca set in the mountain. Very nice hosts.

This review is of Casa Granero as this is the property we stayed in. Upon arrival and walking through the area around the entrance gate we were instantly bewitched; there are plants and vintage farm artefacts galore – then you see the view from the properties WOW. At 700m above seal level the view is over the surrounding hillsides and encompasses Los Cristianos to Alcala (and perhaps Los Gigantes), with the islands of El Hierro and La Gomera clearly visible. Casa Granero itself was equally delightful with the farm style theme continuing; it is typical Canarian with beautiful stone walls, tile and wood floors and timber windows/doors; the decor is typical countryside style with some beautiful pieces of furniture. The space is very generous throughout, over 2 storeys, with an extremely comfortable sofa, and bed, plentiful hot water (particularly on sunny days) all topped off by a generous balcony with 2 sun loungers and a Balinese style day bed. Loli and Gerardo have provided everything you will need for a wonderful and cosy stay (except your groceries of course!). The Welcome Basket was a pleasant surprise, with some basics to start the holiday. We would not hesitate to stay here again. NB you do need your own transport as there are no bus routes to the hamlet, neither are there any restaurants or shops within walking distance.

It was a wonderful escape from the tourist hub hotspots and gorgeous views everyday from the balcony. The owners were very friendly and helpful with local tips. Completely quiet so perfect to relax after exploring the island. Its a great base but car hire recommended. WiFi was good for and beds comfortable. Sitting in the evening watching the sunset was very special.

It’s hard to say anything because it was perfect for us but we did have a day of exceptionally heavy rain and the property experienced some leakage through the roof.

Unbelievable view! Quiet and serene. Birds taking a bath in the beautifully detailed garden. The house is authentic, even better than the pictures. Speaking of authentic: great owner, helpfull when needed, but provides you with all the privacy at the same time. Great welcome with wine and a bunch of fresh fruits. Coming back 100%. We feel like we have found our spot at Tenerife. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation!
