Tru By Hilton Thornburg, VA

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Interstate 95 in Thornburg. Es ist sehr modern. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit 2 großen Betten. Alles war modern mit sehr schönem Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Tankstellen und Restaurants sind ausreichend in der Nähe vorhanden. Wir waren aus familiären Gründen 4 Nächte in dem Hotel und es hat uns sehr gefallen.

It was a very convenient place to stay. The parking lot was easy to get in & out of with a travel trailer in tow. The bathroom was huge & had an abundant supply of soap & towels. I really like the personal greeting that was on the tv in the room! The breakfast was pretty good!

Comfortable beds. Nice lobby with lots of seating areas. Quiet. Nice soap and shampoo.

Temp in room was hard to adjust. Too hot, too cold, too much trouble. Drain in sink didn’t work.

Too strong odor from cleaning supplies or deodorizer. The smell permeated the hall, elevator and room. Gave me a headache. The floor seemed to be oily, it was clean but some kind of oily residue was on the floor from whatever cleaning product used. I like to go barefoot but it felt slippery and oily so I’m glad I brought a pair of socks.

The hotel was so new and so nice. The location is great. We even got to see some cars racing at the speedway Saturday morning!

Our hotel room bathroom had what looked like blood splattered on the walls.

Breakfast was great, they had eggs, sausage, pancakes, bagels and toast, milk & juices, flavored water, yogurts, and the hours for the weekend were 7am to 10am, location was close to the highway, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed using the pool, and the fitness room had a lot of options.

We were on the back side of the hotel, so while the sound from the racetrack was never a bother for us, we could hear the 95-highway traffic all night, so we tried to sleep with the TV on to drown out the traffic noise.

My family loved the pool table & board games in the lobby.

There wasn't enough food at breakfast on the weekend, & during the week, the breakfast area was shut down early.
