Ballard's Pet-Friendly Mid Century Home + Rooftop Deck

Multiple floors so the kids could have their privacy too. A place that allows for pets!

We were initially surprised by the hidden pets fees. Part of this was our naivety finding accommodations through Bookings.com. The property owners were flexible, but pet policies and fees are things that should be immediately disclosed and apparent up front in a listing. The electrical system, appliances and even the shoe rack were problematic or non functional during our stay. The inconvenience was minor, but the time and stress of dealing with faulty things in the rental was a headache that ideally a visitor should not have to worry about when on vacation.

The property location was perfect for what we needed. I liked the separation between the bedroom on the bottom floor and the third floor. The property is exceptionally nice for that area of town. It was a nice stay.

A full length mirror and a make up mirror would have made the place perfect! You have to take your shoes off at the door. While this isn't uncommon, I don't particularly like going barefoot. I asked if I could check out late due to a flight change. I asked around 9:00 a.m. Checkout at 11:00. The yes response at 12:15, which I appreciated, but pretty sure they were aware that we had already left due to the ring door camera. If I had tried to arrange earlier I think they might have been accommodating.

Location met our needs perfectly.

Great location, walkable to all around Ballard.

Street parking was a pain. We even received a ticket because we parked too close to a driveway. Luckily we came out before the tow truck.

I loved the bathtub, fluffy towels and plentiful hot water. It’s built for living a comfortable life, with dining room table, great kitchen and relaxing living room. The bedrooms are spacious and everything is so clean, it was a pleasure to stay there.

Inadequate instruction on how to operate the keypad.

Getting heat to top floor with thermostat on ground floor was iffy. Had trouble finding the garbage cans we should use.
