I was very disappointed stayed in Girasol before and swam alot. On this stay I went to the pool to have a swim but it was cordoned off. When I was leaving there was no one on reception to ask why it was closed. I messaged the owner to ask why and no answer was given.

PLThe apartment is spacious and well-maintained. It has all the amenities described in the listing. The balcony offers a view of the city and Taoro Park, with beautiful sunrises. There is a swimming pool on the roof of the building. The location is perfect for those who want to use bus transportation around the island or enjoy the city's nightlife. Communication with the host was good. The reception is open 24/7. Wi-Fi was very stable.
The only downside is the noise - live music from nearby bars plays loudly until 4 AM every day. Closing the window helps a bit, but earplugs were still necessary for sleeping.
GBLocation was amazing, right in the heart of the town.
Nothing I didn't like really but my only gripe was when it came to speaking to the staff who manned it, lucky my fiancee is Spanish as I know only basic Spanish, nowhere near a full conversation level and when it came to letting them know I was checking out at an early time they knew zero English which is weird for a hotel where English people stay. I ended up having to send my partner down instead for the same conversation in Spanish and she suggested they do some dualingo while sitting at the desk overnight while they're not busy. Overall a great stay though and that was just 1 thing, quite important though if you're meant to inform the staff of an early leave so maybe learn how to say ill be checking out early and the time in Spanish before the trip.
