Sailor's Knot Apartment - Central and Amazing Sea View

The host is very kind and responsive to anything you need! Our favorite things about the place were the balcony/patio with beautiful views, great air conditioning, the good-sized TVs, and the ample clothing storage space.

Nothing we didn't like. Just a few things maybe it would be nice for others to know ... there is no toaster (though there is a panini press) or microwave if those are important to you. The coffee maker is a cezve / turkish coffee pot which I ended up learning and liking. The 20-minute (at a fast pace) walk to Old Town Kotor was less steps than we anticipated based on other reviews, but also not particularly scenic unless you take the longer route along the bay. We liked the exercise though. If you need a taxi, contact Red Taxi by WhatsApp (they are by far the best priced option -- $25 to Tivat airport from Old Town while others were charging $50-60 for that 20 minute drive).

Great value for money. Great location - easy walk to the old town. Great view from the balcony. Apartment equipped with everything what you might need. Washing machine (even the washing powder), in the kitchen all the cutlery and pans, AC in every room. Great communication with the host. Easy parking. Thank you.

The apartment was absolutely clean and organized - exactly like the photos ! The view is breathtaking- super well located - you can just walk to the old town - parking at the property (wich is veeeery important in Montenegro )

A fantastic host looked after us. Nothing was any trouble, prompt replies form all our questions. This apartment is outstanding, great location, walking distance to Old Town, restaurants on the foreshore. Has kitchen, laundry (which is always handy) separate lounge and beautiful bedroom. Would highly recommend.

Everything was clean and tidy. We found all we could possibly need and a lot more. Seaview was beautiful and air-condition in every room was needed! Nothing to complain, we had a happy carefree holiday there. 😊

Well the hill is steep but it is given with those magnificent mountains.

Comfortable home from home. Large, comfortable bed and relaxing apartment. Lots of little extras like salt and pepper and a lovely bottle of local wine. Beautiful view over Kotor Bay. Short walk down to a lovely restaurant overlooking the water, convenient for local buses, and a pleasant walk into Kotor Old Town. The small but well stocked supermarkets nearby are really handy. Our hostess, Milena, couldn't have been more helpful. She was always available in WhatsApp to answer any questions.

No bedside lamps. Would be helpful to have more kitchen utensils. The quilt was a bit small for the bed! Be prepared for a bit of road noise from the balcony which we weren't expecting, although it was fine in the evenings.

The host was fantastic with communication, responded super quickly and was very kind, helpful and solved any issues we had promptly. She even left a bottle of wine and water for us on arrival. The apartment was tastefully decorated (apart from the bathroom). There were lots of little extras left, which was really helpful and the views from the balcony were amazing. We had a lovely stay

The outside of the apartment block let's it down, as it doesn't reflect what's inside, so you have to look past that. There are lots of steps to climb, and the walk is quite steep back up to the apartment, so you might want to bear this in mind if you aren't very mobile. There aren't enough sockets in the bedroom, so double plugs would be helpful. There is plenty of crockery but not enough kitchen utensils. The bathroom needs updating, and the shower isn't very powerful and is also over a bath. Again, if you struggle with getting in and out of a bath, bear this in mind. It's also quite difficult having the washing machine right next to the loo as there is no space to manoeuvre. Bear in mind 1st and 2nd of May are bank holidays so there are no supermarkets open. A welcome pack with information regarding boiler, air con instructions, etc would be useful to have.
