Cosy nest in animal rescue Monte dos Vagabundos

We really enjoyed our stay in Lucie's small Paradies. Everything was as good as expected. The Caravan is located on beautiful property with view on the ocean (including incredible sunsets). The caravan it self is very cozy and has all the essentials u need for a stay. And even though you share the property with 2 humans and more then 20 animals, you will still have your privacy. It is best if you bring your own care or rent one because there is so much so explore in this area. Lucie' and Philipp are very kind. They will help you with Planing daily trips and give you all the information you need. Our car had a problem during the stay and they even took us to a mechanical station. I can highly recommend you to go for a walk with all the lovely doggies and Lucie. They are very cute and you can discover the beautiful property a little more. Sometimes one of the doggies even stayed for a bit at the Caravan outside while we were playing games. Really enjoyed to have some nice company. All in all one of the best experiences I had so far with booking.

la roulotte bella, da senso di libertà

Per chi come me sta percorrendo la rota Vicentina a piedi, bisogna tenere a mente che dal paese ad arrivare all' alloggio e poi tornare indietro la mattina seguente, sono 7 km in tutto in più da fare. Nel mio caso era meglio spendere qualcosa in più ma rimanere in paese.

Great location with distant view of the sea. Nice breeze even on a hot day. Very comfortable caravan with some shade and a picnic table. Located within a dog rescue area making it fun and quite unique. Close enough for hikers on the Historical Trail particularly given the hosts offer to help out with a ride.

Caravan is a little small though very functional. Could be a little bit less expensive. Given the good work Lucie does for the dogs with the cash earned, it’s understandable 😀.

Welch wunderbarer, zauberhafter Ort! voller Herzenswärme, einem Gefühl von Freiheit und gleichzeitig Geborgenheit! Ich war leider nur eine Nacht in Lucys „Nest“. Es war alles blitzsauber, ich fühlte mich sicher, willkommen und konnte diesen Ort mit seiner besonderen Ruhe, seinem Charme in seiner ganzen Einzigartigkeit geniessen! Der Wohnwagen ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht .. und noch mehr! Küche komplett, Heizung, Handtücher, warme Dusche, Wasser uvm. Lucy hat mir ein superleckeres Rezept mit den dazugehörigen Zutaten inkl. gewünschter Getränke sowie einem reichhaltigen Frühstück zu einem sehr fairen Preis bereitgestellt. Selbst kochen durfte ich im WoWa, das mehr als reichliche Essen mit Meerblick im Sonnenuntergang genießen! Lucy holt euch gegen eine kleine Gebühr auch ab, oder lässt euch abholen! Dafür war ich sehr dankbar und habe gleich noch eine Bekanntschaft mit Phillipe machen dürfen! Ich suchte nach Ruhe auf meinem Weg am Fishermans Trail, und war als alleinreisende Frau etwas unsicher, wie ich dorthin kommen sollte! Außerdem absolut positiv hervorzuheben: superschnelle Antworten, sehr verbindlich, ein supertoller Kontakt! Wer keine Sternehotels mag und die Seele baumeln lassen möchte, dem quaken der Frösche und dem Zirpen der Grillen lauschen möchte ist hier genau richtig!

A caravana é uma casinha de bonecas! Muito confortável, decoração com muito bom gosto, tem tudo o que é necessário tal como se tivessemos em casa. A casinha de banho muito confortável e decorada com muito gosto. O local é um sossego… perfeito!

Such a special place. Set in glorious surroundings. A little peace of serenity. Dogs were wonderful and good for your soul.

Nothing

The camper was tastefully decorated, well equipped, spotless clean, warm. The toilet and shower are arranged outside - all very clean but in winter it might be a challenge as it is cold. It is very quiet and we had a privet concert with our dinner (cicadas were playing 😁). In the morning you wake up with the birds. We bought some groceries for dinner and breakfast in the Intermarshe but you can ask the owner to do it for you for a set fee. Phillip picked us up from the shop as the camping is a bit off the track. He also dropped us the following day on the Rota Vincentina. We took the opportunity and walked the rescued dogs and fed the Vietnamese pigs. It was one of the best accommodation on our route. Thank you.

It is a bit off the track but with the offered pick up is not a problem.
