I was a bit worried about booking this hotel because of some of the lower reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The biggest advantage is definitely the location — you are literally one minute from the beach, surrounded by many food stalls and cafés. The hotel restaurant also serves excellent meals for very reasonable prices. I booked one of the cheaper rooms with a view into a wall and the roof of the nearby building. I already knew about this from the reviews, so it didn’t bother me. In fact, I was surprised by how spacious the room was. Every day I received fresh water, several kinds of snacks, and the room was always perfectly clean. The hotel is a bit older, but because it is well maintained and the staff really make an effort, it feels absolutely fine. The bed was extra large and comfortable, and the bathroom was also very nice. If you want a sea view, I definitely recommend paying for the more expensive room — I saw a few open doors and the rooms with ocean view are truly beautiful andand very well equiped. I arrived with low expectations and ended up leaving very pleasantly surprised. It’s not a 5-star hotel, but for the price, it’s absolutely worth staying here.

Surin as a location didn’t really impress me overall, but that has nothing to do with the hotel, so that would be the only thing.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s located just a three-minute walk from the beach, which was incredibly convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we appreciated that the hotel provided beach towels — a small detail that makes the experience much easier and more pleasant. The staff were exceptionally kind, always welcoming and ready to help with anything we needed. They also give complementary snacks everyday, which is very kind.

There were some cockroaches in our room at night :(
