The property had a quirkiness to it in a good way, it was peaceful.

The staircase boards, decking boards outside seem very weather beaten and old and very unsteady when walking on them. The stairs to go up to the plunge pool was dangerous and rickety and not a proper banister. Perhaps a bit of painting to give the outside a fresh look and just do the garden and perk it up a bit.

The bed was comfortable

I had no hot water in the shower the whole time there. The hot tub didn't work and they didn't say that in advance. The pool was dirty and unusable. The TV didn't work the 1st 2 days. When I asked for it to be fixed I was told I had to wait until the next day. It was as simple as the correct remote not being in the room. When on the 3rd day the owner found out the problems hadn't been fixed, she sent a plumber. He said it was something that needed to be replaced, then never returned. Many of the lightbulbs were out in the room. I could not get ahold of staff for much of the time I was there. I sent several emails through booking. Com and never got a response. Also my liquor was mysteriously disappearing while I was gone. Come back to room and there is less than when I left.

I liked that it was clean, beautiful, and quiet.

When we arrived our hosts were waiting for us and met us with the friendliest of welcome, our room was upgraded to facilitate us. The rooms were clean and we got clean towels and toiletries. We booked mainly because of the pool and it was open through out so could use during the day. We would definitely stay here again.
