The Moo-tel at Moody Meadows

Nice unusual place, more like an adventure for one night. Friendly staff, very clean place with nice terrace outside the room.

Rooms next to each other, any noise is spread all over the place. Either you are with family on holiday and next door you have noises whole night of.....hihihi or vice versa.

Quirky place and they were working on the entrance road which looks like is going to be a good addition. Amazing food at the restaurant on-site and great value for money. Easy and free parking on-site. Comfy bed with quality linen and quiet location so a good nights sleep.

No carpet on the floor which was not an issue for me as travelled in August but might be cold in the winter and I do like a carpet to walk on in the morning. Shower reminded me of one I had at the 24 hour gyms that you need to keep pushing the on button every 20 seconds to keep the water on and there is no facility to increase or decrease temperature which may well be a way to save water but it took the shine off first thing in the morning. When you enter the accommodation it is not clear which door to use and you walk into a communal dining area where there was a family sat eating dinner, as I was not prepared for this I thought I had walked into someone else's room and left but then had to walk back in and ask what was happening, we laughed it off but signage would be useful. You then go through a door to the accommodation and again a small sign telling you which door to go through for the hall would be handy. I arrived late for check-in so had to wait for a member of staff who was serving in the restaurant. I was not aware there were fixed times for checking-in but as long as you are aware there might be a wait no issues. No black-out blinds on the curtains so very bright in the morning. It looks like there were a lot of issues but not really as I enjoyed my stay. Location was perfect for me but I had been travelling around mid-Wales staying at different hotels every night so these were the things that stood out.

Everything. Build quality food,atmosphere. Just a shame it was for only 1 night

Good value, good standard of cleanliness, good size room with tea/coffee facilities, good shower, comfy bed, outside seating area, reasonably quiet except for fire door in corridor outside that crashed shut every time it was used. No parking issues. Excellent adjacent restaurant/breakfast facility with very good food and good atmosphere, well stocked bar and attached shop for local produce and off-sale purchases. Great location for visiting Aberaeron and New Quay (in west Wales), although we didn't need them very good indoor play areas for kids.

Fixed shower head, lack of comfy seats and no refrigerator in the room, relatively high food cost (for Wales)

The room was spacious and I loved the decor of the Highland cows theme, felt Yellowstone vibe. Short walk across to the restaurant where we enjoyed a nice pub meal with a few beers (hawkstone) staff welcoming and friendly. Would stay here again

The walls are very thin so I got woken up a few times during the night.
