The Mtn Retreat- Steps to Palmer Park and playground, Central COS, Great location

It was a wonderful & conveniently located house. The house itself was really clean and fully stock with coffee, tea & assortment of spices. The backyard was really spacious and clean.

Beds were very comfortable.. lighting and mirrors in bathroom were excellent... coffee service was very nice ..very clean.

The steps leading to the front door were quite steep. A handrail is needed. my sister and I ended up walking across the grass and down a less steep incline.

some of the beds the sheets were with women hair one restroom was not clean properly at night the noise from the main driveway was loud the backyard is not properly maintained

This was a great stay. We have a big family with quite a few kids and there was ample room for all of us! The house was obviously well cared for and maintained. Although not a new house, it was bright and cheerfully decorated. It was an easy location to find, and entering and exiting was a breeze. There was a helpful binder full of information, rules, and local amenities in the den. We had good communication with the owner and all of our questions/concerns were answered/handled promptly.

We really loved this sweet house. However, we could’ve used a few more towels and a bathmat in the back bathroom. The downstairs was not as bright and cheerful as the upstairs, although we were thankful for the space. It was clean, but just needs some updating. It would also have been handy to have a sheet in the very handy binder about how to use the tv and what channels/streaming subscriptions were available. We had a really hard time trying to find regular NBC to watch the Olympics!!

Great location! Very clean. Rita is an excellent host and responds quickly.

Close to Palmer Park for hiking, walking, playground equipment. Bathrooms were in great shape and decorations were really nice.

Next time we would want to be closer to Manitou Springs where the sights to see were located. The outdoor fire pit was out of propane on the first day and so we were not able to enjoy that. We would have liked to have had an electric coffee maker. I know there was a keurig but only 5 Kcups with 4 adults for three days. Detergent for the washing machine was gone. We wished there was a grill available. The neighborhood was not in very good shape.

The location, layout, family games, and comfort of the home were absolutely amazing and the communication from start to finish with the hostess were TOP NOTCH! Rita checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.

What a change from FL Palm Trees and Sea Level living. Thank you Rita for offering a great escape from our humid, buggy nights, even if, just for a few days. Never have we ever worn sweaters in July ... lol!!! We had a blast!! Thanks again!

It was so nice to have a place for the family to hang out that was spacious. The big backyard and the yard games were a favorite for the kids! We thoroughly enjoyed our time getting to hang out by the firepit on the back deck-- exactly the experience we were wanting for this family get-together!

Plenty of space - huge backyard - very quiet - loved the little touches everywhere and the extra blankets were amazing - I could literally go on and on
