Palazzo Rudiae - Sant'Irene

It was very quiet

Huge apartment, high ceilings, living room, dining room, kitchen with all amenities, beautiful dormitory. Location in the middle of old town Lecce, close to all churches, piazzas and historic baroque buildings.

No complaints

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Rudiae – Sant'Irene. From the start, our host Carla was incredibly helpful with all our questions, responding swiftly and making sure all our needs were taken care of (parking, restaurant tips, breakfast, even helping me with the coffee machine). The room was fantastic: very spacious, with plenty of facilities, a great bed and, to top it off, an amazing shower (if I could, I would take it home! 🙂). The location in Lecce couldn’t be better. Everything is within walking distance – the Duomo is less than 3 minutes away, and as soon as you step out of the street you’ll find plenty of lovely spots for lunch or dinner. I would highly recommend Palazzo Rudiae – Sant'Irene to everyone. If I ever come back to Lecce, this is without a doubt the only place I’d stay.

Situated in a perfect location, very quiet but steps from the centre of Lecce. The apartment was on the first floor (2nd for American guests) was insanely large, and provided almost everything you can think of. There are shared laundry facilities which was a godsend during our tour of Puglia. Car parking can be arranged in advance of your stay in a secure car park quite close to the accommodation and highly recommend you use this as parking can be a nightmare. The star of the show however, was Carla our amazing host. A delightful person, who is very communicative and only too happy to provide any help or information you need. She advised on the best beach club to visit and even offered to provide us with beach towels. On the second morning of our stay she left a breakfast of delicious pastries outside our door which really helped as we had an early start that day. One of the nicest hosts we have come across and helped make it a very memorable stay.

Absolutely nothing.

Wonderful location. Easy nearby parking. Lots of things to do and eat within a few steps. Hostess Carla very nice. Quiet space. Washer and dryer on premises.

Poor wireless connectivity except near front door to apartment. No tissue or safe. Hard mattress. Shower leaks unless flow is minimized.

Absolutely everything!!! The apartment was as big as my own house, it had everything you could possibly need including a beautiful outdoor courtyard. The styling of this accommodation was so gorgeous i wanted to buy this apartment and live in lecce. The owner even surprised us once morning with lecce's famous pasticiotto breakfast cake

Great location. Very central but in a quiet side street. Spacious and cool. Superb host “Carla” who was in touch throughout our stay and offering to help with planning and booking lidos etc. and with lovely touches like local pastries delivered to our door once a week.

Nothing. All great. Maybe a view would have been perfection but the little courtyard was quiet and private which we enjoyed.

Location fabulous, host was amazing. Really helpful. Actually met us personally, doesn’t happen very often. Daily contact &treats brought to our door. This Palazzo is beautiful, spacious & it was the best thing about Lecce, including our hostess with the mostest! 🤣
