Royal Cocoon - Nuwara Eliya

Staff were friendly and helpful, good location. Breakfast was generous (although had to order the day before and advise of what time you wanted it, which can be a little restrictive).

Rooms were a little run down and there were stains on some of the linen (doesn’t necessarily mean they were unclean of course, but optics..). But it is an old colonial building so would expect things to be aged.

We had a a fantastic stay at the Royal Cocoon. My wife and I are on holiday and we were so pleased with the atmosphere, lovely and pristine gardens on the property, and must mention the delightful staff. We would like to extend our special thanks to the staff for their courtesies, especially Mr. Sevin, who went out of the way to assure our comfort and needs were met with professionalism and timeliness. The building has a classic architectural appeal and charm, and our room was well appointed. The property is located conveniently close to the town, and all the attractions we wanted to experience were within walking distance. We even extended our stay an additional night. Highly recommended!
