Cromer 2 Bed Apartment Near Beach Free Parking Included

Extremely clean and well furnished. Kitchen had all the utensils you could need and was spotless. Beds were extremely comfortable.

Hot water was the only issue, it was warm at best.

The apartment was spotlessly clean. It was beautifully decorated. Excellent location. Well equipped. Comfy beds and sofa bed. The apartment felt spacious. I would return with friends but it was a bit difficult with kids (see separate info).

Although parking was a bonus, it really was tight and unsuitable for those needing to get small children out of the car. As mentioned a lot in other reviews, there are a lot of steps with some being very steep which we found unsuitable with kids in tow. Upon arrival all electric radiators were turned off. It was very cold (3 degrees outside) and took nearly 24 hours for the apartment to warm up completely. Again, not suitable with small children.

The property company knew work was being carried out on the adjacent property and didn't tell us in advance. The noise from relentless drilling, hammering, more drilling, more hammering completely ruined my mum's 80th birthday. Disgraceful. Very poor. Also blood stains in the bathroom, filthy windows with pigeon droppings and old pigeon stakes for us to look at and the parking was only fit for one vehicle, not two as stated - very, very tight fit for a Clio. Had to squeeze out of the car and I'm slim.

Location. Decor

No cutletains in kitchen. Bed mattress has sank at one side. Hot water was on for an hour from 7am. Was never going to be hot. First morning waiting around for two hrs for water to get hot for showers. Electric heaters work ok but fiddly. Sofa was minging with stains, maybe because there was no coffee table to put anything on. Other than that nice flat let down by obvious issues.

Very clean, very modern and very spacious. Own parking slot. And very close to everything. The sea front is probably less than 5 minutes away.

Good location in the day as close to the beach. Excellent interior.

Noisy at night (but realise you can’t have it both ways!) due to location. Hot water wasn’t ‘hot’ just luke warm. We only used the flat as a bed for the night and a quick shower. Not a complaint, as I’m sure this would have been resolved if highlighted at the time of our stay. Just something to know about for other guests.

There was no hot water when we arrived and when following instructions on how to boost the water temperature it took a long time to heat up. We texted the management company and they did respond quickly. The pub opposite was very noisy, with lots of people in the street outside BUT the noise always stopped at midnight

This apartment was very clean, comfortable and in a good central location on the main street. Everything that we needed was provided, I was delighted to find teabags, coffee and washing up liquid already there upon check in. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a great nights sleep. Shops, restaurants and the sea front were just steps away from the front door, and we also enjoyed a trip to Norwich by train from the station in Cromer. Having parking in such a central location was an added bonus.

We liked everything about this apartment, but I have two notes of caution for other guests. The steps to access the property are very steep, guests with restricted mobility or young children will need to take this into consideration. Also, while it didn't bother us, the pub across the road can be noisy until late into the evening, and the pigeons sound a dawn chorus reasonably early too!!
