Buncrana Class 5 double bed

I loved how clean and welcoming it made all of us feel

I didn’t like that it was a little far from any convenience shop but a €5 taxi wasent a problem

Internet would have been a bonus to suit all age ranges

House was big, plenty of room for the 9 of us. Great views at the back of the property and the location was fab. Tea/Coffee were provided and there was a good selection of cup, plates etc... Bedding and towels were provided Cleaners do a great job. Washing machine and dryer work.

Unfortunately there is a lot that we didn't like. The house could be amazing with a a few finishing touches such as curtains, garden furniture and more seating in the living room. WiFi would be great too. The host was very difficult to get hold of. I emailed and text to get info on how to get into the house as we were going to arrive later than we expected however I never received a reply. Only managed to get into the property because of a chance encounter with a lady (who I assumed was the cleaner) who ran over to us as she was leaving a house across the street and gave us the key code. The water situation was ridiculous. Sometimes the water temperature would be fine, other times scolding hot, even from the cold tap! The main bathroom shower is VERY loud. There is mould on the walls in the downstairs en-suite. The toaster was broken One of the wooden chairs in the kitchen was broken so when I sat on it, the base flipped off the frame. There was a random car parked on the drive. To be honest, the list goes on and on.... I would stay again if needed because of the location to nearby family however I would come prepared next time!

The house was spacious

No garden furniture, issues with the showers all not temperature controlled and running far too hot. Not enough seating and cutlery for the whole group.
