"Lovely apartment in a great location."

The apartment was located right in the middle of town with windows overlooking the main shopping street but without a lot of noise. Access was from a quiet side street entrance and down an internal set of stairs past the entrance to the apartment above to the internal front door. This led into the hall with the spacious bedroom on the left and the bathroom (shower only) and the combined lounge kitchen with large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and electric kettle, hob and oven on the kitchen island. There were plenty of good quality cutlery, plates, cups, glasses and cooking utensils. Four stools were provided around the island and the lounge area had a two-seater sofa, coffee tables and a large FreeView smart TV. Plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space was available in the bedroom and kitchen and while there was a little wear and tear on some of the fixtures all were spotlessly clean and fully functional. The shower was very good and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've been in. There is a very nice pub - The Cider Press - just down the street with outside seating and friendly staff and locals who recommended a trip to Babbacombe Down which, via a short bus ride from the stop close to the apartment was indeed very beautiful an much quieter than Torquay town centre.

While there was nothing that spoiled our stay we have a few suggestions for making the apartment even more apealing. First of all, there was no external signage on the street entrance - a sign with 'Marina Walk' and the name of the other apartment on the front door would help. No coat hooks were fitted in the hall - there is ample space to accomodate a coat rack and perhaps a shoe rack there. Or instead of a shoe rack a small stool would allow easier putting on and removal of outdoor shoes. The coasters on the coffee table and some of the cutlery was in need of washing - perhaps the owner should check in a little more detail between guests. There was no microwave oven in the kitchen - there is ample space for one. And finally, most people's bedrooms have a TV these days so it would have been nice to have one in Marina Walk too. One thing that should be noted is that while we had no problem, a larger person might have some difficulty getting into the shower as the gap in the glass shower front was a little narrow.

Excellent stay. Modern, exceptionally clean and tidy. Good size bedroom, kitchen/living area. Great facilities. Car parking is at public area about 4 min walk. It cost £29 from Touque council for buying 4 days permit.

Convenient location but can be noisy at night as some fighting /shouting at both nights during our stays on the street until midnight. Otherwise, everything is great.

"Perfect"

Beautifully finished apartment, high standard. Super comfy bed, and clean. For us the location was perfect, Up a slight hill but easily accessible. It’s situated on a narrow one way road, so if needing to unload a lot from your car it may cause a build up of cars, we parked the car just a short walk away in the fleet shopping centre, it was there for about 48 hours and was £18.50! Good price we thought. Great location, near everything, premier shop across the road and about a 5 min walk to the harbour, restaurants and bars.
