TromsøApartment Silent area with free parking I have caravan for rent same place, 4 people

The hosts were very kind and accommodating, going beyond what normal hosts usually do. Our stay was very comfortable and cheaper than what it should have been because they were very helpful. There was a working stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine that made it easier for us during the trip. Would stay here again should we come to Tromsø for another time.

The house is uphill and the roads are icy as it rained. Would not recommend to people with difficulty walking or with large luggages during winter. The place is just perfect for a young couple like us.

Appartement bien agencé et bien équipé Propriétaire disponible A pied il est possible de se rendre dans le centre mais attention il y a une pente verglacée pour arriver à l' appartement. Il faut prévoir des crampons ( voyage fait sur la dernière semaine d octobre et il avait déjà neigé)

L odeur de cigarette dans la petite chambre. Le canapé lit pas très confortable. La chambre comporte un lit 1,5 place et non pas un lit double. Pas de sèche cheveux ( mais il y avait un fer à lisser !)

Smart TV provided but you have to login your Netflix or YouTube account. Sofa is comfortable and easy to turn into bed. Owner provided oil, salt, sugar, coffee and black pepper for cooking. Oven, washing machine, electric kettle, induction stove, fridge was provided and all are in working condition. Bathroom had hot and cold water and was clean and spacious. Dining table is provided. A radiator for temperature control is provided. Clean towels provided. View from the property is good. Peaceful and silent neighborhood.

Washing machine has only tumble dry for 1kg load. And even then the clothes don't come out completely dry. You'll have to dry them but there is very less space in the room to dry them. The room is very small and the wardrobe provided is too small for 2 people. Even for 2 adults, we felt congested so we don't recommend the room for more than 2 people. The property is at a high elevation. As per instructions, we used the 24 bus from airport which dropped us off at the main road ( Storskogen) From there walking to the property with luggage was hell. It was all uphill with some very steep slopes. We don't recommend this property for those who don't pack light and prefer public transport. Alternatively, you can take the bus no. 26 (drops at Skoglyst). That stop is already at a higher elevation than the property and from there most of the walking is downhill and easy. Bus no. 24 should be taken when going to the airport from the property. We selected this property based on its good reviews in the past but we felt that the property has deteriorated over time (small broken things needing repairs) or the owner is not actively involved anymore as the apartment was not clean up to the mark.

Affordable and clean. The apartment had everything we needed – well-equipped, warm, and functional. Good value for Tromsø.

It’s tiny, even for just three people. And probably located at the highest point in Tromsø. If you have a car – no problem. But if you're relying on public transport, be ready for steep uphill walks every time you return. Even a quick trip to the store feels like a mini mountain hike.

This was super! We spent 3 nights at the apt. You have everything there for cooking. Tea, coffee, salt, sugar was provided. House is situated upper the touristic part, be prepared for a bit climbing) The last night we were near the apt and saw Aurora lights!

Old towels - should be replaced. Entrance- could not open the door properly because of snow and ice and was difficult to get inside as it was slippery If you don't have a car be prepared to walk several slippery slopes down to the town and the bus station and back to the house.
