The Old Dairy, comfy 1 bedroom apartment with lounge,bathroom and kitchenette near town, pubs and walks

Location was perfect to get everywhere we wanted to get to.Nothing

All was good.

The Annexe was comfortable and well provisioned. Izzy had left bread and milk and a little tree and bottle of bucks fizz as it was Christmas , which was a lovely thing to find after a long journey. The bed was really comfortable as well.

For two people this is a lovely place in a great location.

It isn't really suitable for a third adult or older child.

A lovely little annexe to a thatched cottage. The Old Dairy was in a quiet lane a short stroll from pubs and shops. The bed was comfortable and the shower excellent. Was cosy and warm. The kitchenette was small but had everything we needed and the extra bits for breakfast was a lovely addition. Izzy was friendly and approachable.

The annexe on this chocolate box cottage is not only cute but really roomy and beautifully decorated in keeping with its charming surroundings. The owner was very attentive and seemed to have thought of everything to make our stay a five star experience for a two star price. In the perfect location to visit the town this property made our romantic weekend away even more memorable.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The Old Dairy is situated in a very quiet location within easy walking/driving distance from the village, nearby towns and sights. There were several supermarkets nearby (Lidl, Waitrose and Sainsbury's and a Tesco Express at Polner 5 mins away (open everyday from 6am - 11pm). There were also some great dog walks nearby and we loved walking along the old railway line crossing the River Avon in several parts. There was also a place where our dogs could paddle and a very large grassed area just 2 mins walk from the Dairy. We also loved the peaceful garden which our dogs shared with Tilly (a beautiful and quiet old girl). The Old Dairy was clean and equipped with everything you needed (with the exception of an oven) which was advised in the property description. We were able to cook a handful of meals using the hob and air fryer and we also used one of the local Fish & Chip Shops from which the food was great. It was a lovely touch that Izzy had left us some eggs, milk, bread, butter, marmalade and cereals for our breakfast on the first day along with some tea bags, coffee and sugar. The main bedroom had a super comfy king sized bed and my daughter was very comfortable on the electrically inflated air bed. We were provided with lovely fresh linen and towels and nothing was too much trouble for Izzy the owner who is very friendly.
